What has been the most upsetting or challenging fic you have ever written and have you ever written something that actually scared yourself? Would you write horror? How do you plan the emotional POV in any story? (You rock 💖🏆)
Hey Tani!
Be Okay - I wrote this whilst sobbing because of an incident that happened with my brother. It helped me get over it. Equally, I wrote another Kyungsoo story, In His Arms right after having a hospital appointment and feeling completely lost with the results. I tend to write with either Kyungsoo or Mark whenever I need to heal from something. Actually, with Jinyoung now too as Inferior that was posted yesterday was upsetting to relive that dream argument. I’m easily attached to my emotions as I write.
The most challenging fiction to write was To Love You from the Destined series. 1) Because I felt pressure to redeem Jinyoung, and to write it as well as Destined. 2) Because there were SO many emotions, complex at times, to navigate. 3) I felt so emotionally drained after finishing it. But don’t worry, Forsaken will no doubt top that because right now I’m avoiding writing it like the plague because the emotions are too big for me to handle.
No I wouldn’t write horror. I have an idea for another Spiritual Connection world story that might be a little unwelcomed, but that’s about it. I hateeee horror, I’m easily scared so I don’t think I want to write about it.
I don’t plan emotions. I just let them happen. It’s like the characters are acting it out in front of me and I’m along for the ride, my hands jotting down as much of it as I can as it happens.
(You rock too! Heheh)
