Have any of you ever traveled outside of your home country?
Norhi: I think we all have to some extent. My work as an arcanist and conjurer takes me all over the place. Though.. the first time I left The Black Shroud, was right after I turned ten. My grandmother wanted to introduce me to the extended parts of my father’s tribe. I’m adopted. So, she was just making sure I knew that my family extended beyond what was right there in Gridania. We took a caravan to Thanalan, spent a couple day’s in Ul’dah, and then traveled on to the Sagolii Desert. It’s a very different way of life there, with the Basilisks, the P tribe. I learned a lot. That and traveling with grandmother was always nice.
Viirta: I left my home town when I was seven, when I was sent to the orphanage. After that, I didn’t travel again until I was... sixteen. I went to Gridania, and then returned to Ul’dah four years later. And I’ve lived here ever since. Nowadays I do a bit of light traveling around Thanalan, and some teleporting between Ul’dah and the Mist in La Noscea.
Ceridwen: I just traveled out of Coerthas for the first time in my life, earlier this year. I’d been in and out of Ishgard, but never very far. And never without hired escorts. Convincing Father to let me travel to La Noscea to join the Arcanists Guild was difficult. But ultimately worth it. It’s been great!
Riall’a: I spent my childhood in the Lavender Beds. But around the time I was... twelve or so, I started traveling with my father. We’re on the road nearly constantly now. I’ve been to three of the four current city states. I’ve yet to visit Ishgard. I’m told it’s a magnificent city.
Tannysa: I left Doma for the first time with one of the evacuation ships. I... was not in a mind to appreciate that I was finally getting to travel like I’d wished, at the time.
Trian: I’m the same as Tanni. I’d been able to travel along the borders near our tiny village before. But I’d never crossed them.
Nessyra: I grew up in a tavern along the norther coasts of Vyldbrand. I started traveling and adventuring when I was seventeen. I was only at that a year, before someone more experienced kicked my ass and dumped me off in Gridania. Told me to learn some skills and get more experience before I set out like that again. I didn’t really leave the Black Shroud again till I was twenty nine. Since then, most of my traveling has been with Viirta.
WACKY OVERLOAD! hahahaha #Jeca #Mitch #Ysh #Tannia #SaBahay
