also... kind of? It is again a New Xkit Thing, and it pops each individual reply out into a single draft post, so I still have to copypasta them into one because this is in fact how I wish to talk to people in public apparently, but it’s better than nothing?

Some day I might remember to comment on the github page, both for multi-replies at once, and because I miss how my thing used to autotag the source, since I like labeling things by OP/artist/writer, but that might be a smaller niche request than usual? 😅

Actually suffering the same monthly rebellion, but ice cream for the win!!  It helps the soul which is important

​I must have looked especially miserable this month, as I hadn’t quite managed to ask the husband to go get ice cream, he offered on his own while I was considering just face-planting into the lawn and refusing to do anything the rest of the day 🤣

Oh, that sounds like you might enjoy trying what a friend of mine did; after she got the Eco Lifestyle EP, she did a household where they did almost everything via dumpster diving and upcycling. IIRC, the way she did it was they could furnish the house with stuff they got via dumpster diving, and anything they got that they didn’t need they could repair/improve and then sell to pay for anything they couldn’t get via dumpsters or other gathering methods (like they couldn’t buy seeds, because you can collect seeds in the various neighbours and combine plants to get other plants). Though it takes some preplanning, I think she mentioned having a tracking spreadsheet she’d put together so she knew what actually could come out of a dumpster, and what they had to get via other means.

It actually sounds like an interesting enough premise that I may give it a whirl myself some time, once I get around to buying that EP.

Hell yeah, he’s an incredibly enjoyable character. It’s just that him ending up under the thumb of a selfish jerk who prioritizes his ego and personal gain over the lives of others is a very appropriate fate for him.
