honestly one of the most beautiful things ive experienced in my youth so far is the realization of how beautiful people are. media and society lead kids to think that you have to be a certain standard of beauty and have a particular personality and that level of attractiveness is directly correlated to your self worth. after years of thinking that ^^ was the definition of beautiful, i began believing that there was never any possibility of me looking a model. there was never any possibility of me being picture perfect. but the realization that my friends are so beautiful, my mother is so beautiful, the one I love so god damn much is so beautiful makes me doubt everything ive thought about that word. my best friend of 9 years is so incredibly strong and has dealt with so many hardships and she still gets through them. she is in no way a model. but that strength is so beautiful. the person i kissed isn’t the most beautiful person in the world, only just one of the most wonderful and kind people in world. my mother doesn’t look perfect. but she is perfect in everything she does. her genuineness is beautiful.
if these people, with their lack of model-status of beauty, can be so so beautiful, what’s stopping me? people are at their best when they’re kind and show love. and that’s the most important thing, the most important purpose, one can have in their lives.
"you won't get anywhere" hard sniffing, fingers curling deep breath. anything to stop tears. "you're not enough" i keep my guard up walls to resist the pain and protect what's inside. never works. i always lose every time a part is snatched. "you're too weak" i am scrambling now my walls are crumbling. "you're not a good enough person" every ounce into trying to resist i am tired. i heave a breath and try again. i don't hear any more noises. am i better? yes? i cement my walls to repair and breathe of relief maybe. "you're not worth it" and everything breaks. the walls explode bricks ripping away the glue that held it, unseen. the ground shakes and cracks into two. i am tired. i heave a breath. i give up. there's nothing left to protect inside.

Part I (20/10) when he tucks my hair behind my ear eyes orbs of brown sparkle in concentration and fingers deft in making sure no strand remains (he’s had a lot of practice) mouth slightly agape to show the delicate pink of his tongue fingers brushing against the tip of my ear tucks it in and then looks at my eyes my face and his lips fold into a wide grin a smile that only children and old people can imitate the pure unadulterated happiness uncorrupted and innocent reserved for me and me only Part II (23/10) a kiss is too vague of a word its reassuring when he kisses in the centre of my palm even the slightest brush so soft holding me down to earth a kiss is too vague of a word its melting me into a puddle of water when he kisses me on my lips tongue dancing on a rhythm of their own together two different currents colliding and moving together like the ocean a kiss is too vague of a word its floating my head in the clouds when he kisses me on my forehead just a small peck and everything turns to mush thoughts incoherent and im among the heavens a kiss is too vague of a word its the ravenous fire that consumes me when he kisses me near my pelvic bone each kiss making my skin ignite in flames of lust and desire moaning in pleasure and fervor a kiss is too vague of a word it means to feel everything
how i know i am in love i am letting you go (31/1) (t.g)
When honey kisses turned to poison in my throat, and fits of giggles are now choked conversations, seeing you used to send flutters of butterflies in my stomach I only feel knives stabbing me in the gut now. you threw ugly accusations at me that ego inside of you burst and destroyed the remnants, that was my heart. I let you in, for you to share the garden that is my heart and my mind but you were a storm and you fucking destroyed it. now i'll write angry words, spitting bitterness in alphabets, spilling everything toxic you left behind. now i'm growing my lilies and my lotuses and my roses on my own.
I am not going to build your make-believe throne
i do not like being weak. never have been and never want to be so. but you make me so. you make me weak with your melting kisses and your ghostly touches that make my knees shake. but its not always in the good ways. im so much more vulnerable now i think its my fault when youre mad you cloud my thoughts so much everything, everything revolves around you and me and of us all of these things that make my heart weak. the world isn’t fair, they say maybe that’s why i feel both weakness in loving you and being loved.
my heart hurts and im not sure why
