Wait Tao was short???
Dude. Taoshaid was A TINY. Dark elves were typically around 4-5 feet tall (5.5 max), and I think he was like. A solid 5. Maybe a bit shorter. TO BE FAIR YOU HAD FREAKIN GIP, SO EVERYONE WAS HUGE. (Also Orville. Gods. I THOUGHT HE WAS ALSO A TINY, but maybe I messed up drawing them, oops.)

The buttiest of all faces. Going with Facade-verse here.
What they smell like: The earth, rocks, the mountains. He would clean himself regularly (was probably taught the dangers of having any strong scent where animals might catch whiff, and knowing him, would blow that way out of proportion in terms of 'things I need to make sure I do for preparation'), but otherwise, just an sort of earthy thing going on with him.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): Usually whenever he could, however he could when on the surface. He'd greatly prefer being nocturnal, of course, but he can't always manage depending on what's going on. Likely, he'd wrap himself up in some things and cover himself entirely in some obscure area outside, since inns are unlikely to take him. If left to his own devices though, and back underground, he might toss around a bit, kinda sprawl some, and leave his mouth hanging open like a derp. The covers would end up maybe only covering a little bit of him by the time he'd wake.
What music they enjoy: Whatever is the norm of the Hakai'el, though given that they often try to repress their emotions, I can only see this being kind of like.. war drums to help with training. He'd need to be exposed to more music before he could gain any other kind of preference.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning: As little as necessary. But enough to make sure everything needed for survival is in place, such as weapons, food, drink, his book, and so forth.
Their favorite thing to collect: Information. And, of course, anything needed on the mission. ... Otherwise, he really enjoys his throwing knives, and can't likely get enough kinds of those.
Left or right-handed: Ambidextrous, as it's required of all Hakai'el.
Religion (if any): Heavilly Hakai'el, which is an off-sect of the Ak'nythi faith. His beliefs and tenants about Balance are basically everything to him, and guide his life in nearly all the ways. Mess with this, and he'll prooobably stab you. A lot.
Favorite sport: I imagine he actually really enjoys his training, but would never say so. Things like obstacle courses, and tests of physical skill, agility, and fighting ability probably give him an enjoyable sort of rush, and are kind of like a 'sport' in that they allow him to prove himself. He'd likely enjoy 'partner exercises' the most, where he would get to work with Taul'nn to complete a task with the most efficiency. u_u Otherwise, he likely doesn't know of many, or has only heard of them and never tried them.
Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc): Information, always. Either by watching people, sneaking into places, nabbing a book here or there to look over, before carefully putting it back (depending), and so on. Who knows if he'd enjoy more things if he wasn't so focused on ~the mission~ all the time. u_u
Favorite kind of weather: Dry nights.
A weird/obscure fear they have: ~Feelings~. It's against his faith to have any kind of strong emotion about anything (other than with a Partner, which shares a particular bond with someone, and for the faith of course), and while nothing is stopping him from doing so other than his sheer force of will, when he suddenly has any kind of notable emotional reaction to anything, it immediately terrifies him that he's falling from Balance. And he'll likely react towards it with violence to stop it. Furthermore, he's afraid of being too far from the ground, or not having his feet on it. It's not heights that bother him, and jumping down from things to the ground is fine, but something like riding a horse would weird him out to no end, and he's just want it to stop.
The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: Darts or anything that requires you throw something to hit a target, he'd be damn good at. Also, insult contests.
Random stuff. Mostly of Xsaiav'lairnn, but there are some other derps floating around too. I DREW TWO OF THOSE ON THE PLANE TRIP, I WONDER IF YOU CAN GUESS WHICH ONES.

20.) Does your character have any irrational fears?
Ok. THIS ONE IS ALL THE SPOILERS. FACADE PEOPLE, DON'T READ IT IF YOU WANT TO FIND OUT IN THE STORY.
Oh gods. WELL. I KINDA ALLUDED TO ONE IN THAT LAST POST.
Taoshaid's a derp. He's not afraid of heights if he's on the ground. SO UH. MOUNTAINS? THEY'RE COOL. CLIFFS ARE ALSO COOL. BUT. FLYING ON SOME DRAGON'S BACK OR SOMETHING? OR EVEN JUST FLYING ON A FLUFFY LITTLE MAGICAL CLOUD, EVEN AT A LOWER ALTITUDE THAN THE CLIFF OR MOUNTAIN... no.
He'd sorta flip some shit. LOL He'd probably flip some shit even if he was on a horse, or on a thing that wasn't solidly 'attatched' to the ground somehow.
This said, he would be really uncomfortable 'riding on someone's shoulders'. He doesn't approve of being picked up either, but he'll deal if necessary.
THAT'S ONE.
The next one is kinda more hilarious.
Taoshaid gets really nervous around people who aren't in his sect / of his race showing him 'positive' emotions. Like. If someone was happy that he showed up, he'd sorta weird out a bit. Likewise, any act of kindness or any show of fondness towards him from 'outsiders' MAKES HIM ALL THE UNCOMFORTABLE.
All he hopes for is civility and a certain amount of respect. He expects, however, to be treated like shit. But if anything goes beyond his hopes, he's in completely unfamiliar territory, and doesn't know how to react to kindness from these people. LOL
For one thing, he believes he 'exists on a different plane' than they do, like, completely. IT'S LIKE HE'S A GHOST OR SOMETHING. He's there to observe, and sometimes direct and 'correct the balance', not to interact and become a pivotal force in someone's life. Especially something that is contributing directly and personally to their happiness. So. WHEN THEY LIKE. ARE NICE TO HIM. It's like, you've been invisible all your life, and someone suddenly sees you and starts talking to you. You're all like. WAIT. WAIT, WHAT? WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?!jndkf
Also, he believes in his sect's 'suppression of emotions'. HONESTLY GUYS, BUTTFACE IS A PERSON TOO. So he does have emotions, he just tries to keep them 'in check'. But when someone compliments him, or does some random act of kindness for him, ESPECIALLY given he's expecting to be treated like shit all the time (and usually is), he can't help but notice and feel something about it. And honestly, it scares him. Because they teach that emotion makes one 'unbalanced' and 'tilted at times of utmost importance'. So, he's pretty much fearing that he'll essentially 'fall from grace' so to speak, if he lets himself be happy over something from an outsider.
TLDR: HE'S DEATHLY AFRAID OF KINDNESS. But he secretly likes it, he just doesn't want to. LOL
He'll usually react badly to someone being nice to him cause of this, OR IF THEY PERSIST GET VIOLENT.. and then feel bad about it later, and hate himself for feeling bad and just GET ALL MESSED UP. ROFL
I await the time someone actually does this, because it'd be so hilarious.
EDIT: FORGOT THE MOST OBVIOUS ONES.
* Being 'unbalanced.'
* Failing his sect / being banished.
* Losing the Hakai'el.
^ that's actually number 1 in giant flashy seizure lights. He'd be so lost without them, his whole life would kinda fall apart and he wouldn't know what to do with himself anymore. Likewise, Taul'nn is a big chunk of this too. He'd be pretty devastated to lose her, but he doesn't fear for her on a regular basis, just if she gets to be in a REALLY tight spot.

I. I dunno how this is spoilers either BUT YEAH. MORE TAOSHAID CRAP.
UH. FEET? ROFLMAO. I don't think he's ever actually travelled any other way. In fact, I speculate he might even be kinda freaked out if he was ever put on a horse and told to RIDE INTO THE SUNSET.
Given, 1) he's kinda short, and horses are big. And 2) he likes his feet on the ground where he has the control.

BACKLOGGAN. Arkaz has taken over my life. I knew it would happen. I just knew it. I am SO GLAD I didn't try to mess with it when school was in session, or I would've failed everything from that point on.
ANYWAY. I don't think this is Facade spoilers, but IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW, DON'T READ. lol
UH. I think Taoshaid is pretty mediocre in the cooking department. I'm sure he knows how to cook a few things, as per requirements from his sect, but probably nothing fancy, and probably nothing delicious.
ALL OF IT WOULD BE ON AN OPEN FIRE TOO. Any other means of cooking, (like magic stuff rofl) he just wouldn't know how to do.
Likewise, HE'S PROBABLY LIKE ME, JUST MORESO in that he eats for energy and to stay alive, and really isn't all that excitable about food. I.. I figure he likes some kind of meat, just cause that seems like it'd be a rare thing underground, AND USEFUL FOR FIGHTAN, BUT AT THE SAME TIME, IDK WHAT SORTS OF FOODS EXIST IN THIS WORLD so it's hard for me to say what his 'favorite recipe' would be, if he even has one. 8|
It's probably something that Taul'nn made for him once. DAAAWWW. She can cook better than him just throwing things on a fire, (since she has more time for that shit) so pfft.

Yeah, he doesn't really have a workspace, he's a freakin assassin. LOL BUT IF HE DID.
It'd be ... Balanced. ROFL Aka neat and symmetrical. Probably very sparse, and if there was a thing on one side, he'd make sure to put something of equal visual weight on the other side. But since I honestly don't imagine he's that neat by nature (completely a learned habit, though it's very socially enforced), he'd probably try to keep as little as possible in any 'workspace' he'd have, just so he wouldn't have to worry about keeping it neat.
IF NOTHING'S THERE, NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT, RIGHT? Buttface, your logic. Sometimes, I just don't know.

16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, et cetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?
I sorta answered this elsewhere I think maybe. BUT THIS ONE IS FACADE SPOILERS FOR REAL. So don't read it if you don't want them. ouo
Taoshaid's pretty estranged from all his blood relatives, to his knowledge. If he has any cousins or other not-immediate family, they've never come forward to acknowledge him, so he doesn't even know if they exist.
That said, he's really close to some others in his sect.
Actually, the sect in general could be considered all 'blood relatives'. A common term they use for one another is 'Brother' or 'Sister', and that's just for anyone. But they all mean it; they treat each other like a large family.
Taoshaid is probably the closest with his Partner, Taul'nn. They have a really strong bond, and know each other extremely well, and definitely treat each other like blood relatives, or close siblings.
He also probably feels pretty close to the Elder Priests, in kind of the same way one would feel close to a kind grandparent who comes around often. Not that they're all necessarily that old, but same sort of trusting relationship.
