Booked a flight with TAP Air Portugal and your name's off by a letter (or two)? Don’t worry — here’s the cheat sheet to fix it without losing your mind or your seat.
What You Can Change:
Typos in your name (3–4 letters max)
Title fixes (Mr. ↔ Mrs.)
Middle name add/remove
Legal name change (with docs)
Infant names — free and easy
❌ No full name swaps — you can’t give your ticket to someone else. Cancel & rebook instead.
When To Do It: ⏳ At least 24 hours before your flight. No changes on the day of travel.
How To Do It: Use the TAP website → Manage Booking → Update your name → Upload docs if needed → Submit
