     her mind was wandering, thinking of everything except where she was walking in the halls of the school. books are in hand as she walks using muscle memory at this point ; yellow eyes are glazed over in thought. that was, until, her shoulder bumped someone’s. it caused her to be pulled from memory as she stumbled to the ground, books being strewn everywhere. despite it, she looks to the boy and says:   “ i’m so sorry! i - i should’ve been paying attention! ”

Enji had just finished meeting with Eraserhead, among other U.A staff members, and to say he was distracted was an understatement. Though in civilian clothes, the smallest flickers of flame sparked at the bridge of his nose as he stomped through the halls, like a soldier going to battle. Evidently, though he seemed to be on high alert, he wasn’t paying enough attention. Something had walked into his path as he turned a corner, after turning his gaze downward, he saw that this something was a student.

“You are in the way.” “Cellophane, my apologies.”

The attack had been one both expected and unexpected. At this point, the league coming after class 1-A was to be expected but not this time. This time was supposed to be different, a chance for these poor kids to relax and enjoy the trip to the local fair. This was going to be their chance to have fun and not worry about the dangers of the world. So why? Why this?

Soren had been split off from the other heroes who’d come with them and from the class. A logical decision from the villains as his blinding light could work to blind the attackers with ease. Alone though, it was less a viable option for the hero villain. He’d found himself almost backed into a corner, wounds littered across his form from the villains. There were so many, too many, just like during the USJ attack. Expect this time the LOV had the right idea to bring stronger villains.

He’d been dashing about, delivering hit after hit to the villains to disoriente them and hopefully take a few more down. Soren hadn’t noticed the villain standing behind him, clawed hand raised to strike his back. Not until a blur grabbed him, spinning the two around. He almost began surging, fear rising at the idea of being held and pinned down. Expect, that’s when he noticed a familiar helmet.

He wasn’t fast enough to get himself and the student away before the villain struck Sero’s back. “No!” Soren screamed, immediately falling with the other. The villain cackled, mouth moving to speak but their words didn’t reach Soren. The hero kept his arms around Sero, holding him close in a weak attempt at protecting him from more damage. His eyes snapped up and the unbridled rage in them made the villain hesitate.

Soren’s hand shot up and he sent a rather violent blast of lightning at the villain, sending them back and right into an abandoned ride that broke on impact. He didn’t wait to see if they were alive, instead focusing on Sero. He cursed and immediately began to try and help. “Fuck—fuck c’mon kid, stay awake!” He snapped suddenly but the dull look he got made the situation clear. He cursed and pressed heated hands into the slashes, effectively burning them shut.

Even so, Sero was still loosing too much crimson. Soren panicked and scrambled to try and stand only to collapse once more from his own wounds. “Fuck—wake up! Stay with me, kid!” He knew the end already. “Please—fuck! Why the hell would you do that?!” He snapped as tears rose to his eyes. Any remaining villains that attempted to get close were painfully shocked to their knees.

“C-c’mon Sero! You can’t die here! Not like this! You’re supposed to grow up into a hero! Into—into Cellophane, damnit!” Even when Sero goes limp he doesn’t let go. “Wake up!” He trembled, holding the student close. “Why would you save me?!” He sobbed out.

Sero had dealt with death before, it wasn't new and he was told it wasn't always scary. However, he couldn't help the initial shock and hung head. Shaking shoulders and clenched fists that followed clenched emotions he held in his chest. It isn't weak to cry they said, but how strange was it to cry for someone most people didn't understand. (You wanted angst sooo)
