Here's a fun gaming fact! Mountain Dew has been associated with video games since 1984, when some of the earliest home releases of "Tapper" by SEGA changed the Budwiser advertising to Moutain Dew. After the Bally/Midway re-released "Tapper" in the arcades later on in the 1980s, the drink to serve your thirsty virtual customers became a generic root beer and has stayed the same ever since.
