How many goddamn times can I hear the phrase "do you guys have the chip reader yet" in one HOUR?????

I don’t know which Targets have the chip card readers but we got ours pretty recently and I never realized it before now but the education system really failed a lot of people when they learned how to read and follow instructions because none of my guests know the difference between “don’t remove your card” and “yank your card out literally as fast as is humanly possible”
Zoning in Hardlines
So I am the Cosmetics Team Brand Member now. I get to clean up fucking make up that people just feel like they HAVE to open and write all over fixtures with. Or, they are too lazy to put the make up back where they put it. I really love it when I'm helping a guest out and rather then them handing me back the product, they shove it on the shelf where it doesn't belong. Or they look at a lipstick and say, "I know I shouldn't do this," and take the lid off and put lines on their hand to see the color then shove it back on the shelf.
I WENT INTO TARGET AFTER BEING ON LEAVE OF ABSENCE I LITERALLY DON'T RECOGNIZE ANYONE DAMN SEASONAL WORKERS
So I work at a store by a military base and every year they have an air show. Well This weekend was the air show, and they roped off two rows of parking for it. So it was super busy and people were coming in to get drinks and find lawn chairs ( even though we sold out within three hours Saturday morning ) But Sunday it was literally the busiest i have seen. Like everyone had come in on blue side and the cartwell was completely empty in like 30 minutes. So ( since I was at Guest service ) everyone decided that I would be the person to bitch to because we only had one cart attendant and he was busy emptying the trash that was piling up outside. They hadn't thought to schedule two cart attendants and then we find out that the CA has just gone home and had like a mental breakdown because of all the shit they had put on him. Like they had been screaming at him about outside trash on both sides, being empty of carts on both sides ( which mainly wasn't his fault) and we had like five carryouts all at once. Fuck Target is all I'm saying, they took the time to get every AP person in the district to our store but didn't think about what the fuck was going inside the store.
