Today is national “Kiss A Ginger Day”.

Both boys looked toward the older man confused. Rowan’s face red, while Erow’s just looking confused. Neither caring about the kiss, but the day he specified. Was that a real holiday? It seemed so farfetched. Erow was the one to care the least. No, he held his usual smug grin afterwards With an equally snarky remark. “What? No lip action?” Rowan only stood there smiling, bashful and content for his friend’s kiss.

Viscen sighed and shook his head. “Apparently she needs tags. I’ve never heard of something so ridiculous.” He would have to get them though, before someone found out her secret.

Rowan! *hugs and twirls him* I just heard! Congrats! You made it out of school!

Rowan smiled warmly at the hug, but the twirling felt unnecessary. He smiled regardless. Seeing his friend so happy and so excited, especially toward him, made him feel the same. “T-Thank you T-Tarlon. I a-appreciate it..” So many people giving him good wishes.

Kul'tha turned and noticed the blond-haired male before her and she tilted her head. She wore a cloak around her, the hood up and she carried a backpack.

Beneath that cloak she had twin blades (it was a family heirloom from from of her great grandmother's. One of the few heirlooms without magic or corruption attached to it.) as well as multiple daggers at various spots on her person. She was dressed well for travel, and looked to have come a long, along way already.

She approached Tarlon, and pulled down her hood, her golden-hazel eyes blinking from the lack of shade they were accustomed. "Ah, hello there."

Her brown skin was well-tanned, as if she worked out in the sun often, and her deep auburn, wavy hair shone in the light.

"Could you be so kind as to tell me just where I have ended up? I am... unfamiliar with these parts."

Moving Forward

It had been a few months since he last heard from her. There was no contact and he merely sighed and shrugged it off. Perhaps it was for the best, she was much younger than he was after all. He had children and a job and history both good and bad. She still had so much life ahead of her, she didn't need to spend it with an old man like himself.

Giving a small prayer of thanks to the goddesses for even giving him a chance with her, he decided to move on. He kept his eye out for another potential partner that would wish to raise his kids and even have more. He smiled as he gazed out the window and watched the first few flurries begin to fall.

So you've probably wondered where I've been....I've been on my personal blog a lot lately; jupiterwolfsoldier.
