A/N: I am incredibly nervous to post this as i haven’t written fanfiction in a very long time. I think it might have been 2018 the last time i did, however, i wanted to try again. I’m not promising that this will become a regular thing and that i’ll be posting a lot of content but do let me know if you enjoyed it and if you have any ideas for other posts! Enough rambling, Enjoy!

The wind shakes the leaves canopying above my head. An autumnal breeze beginning to make its mark as the change of seasons in Hawkins becomes more apparent by the day. It ruffles the fabric of the blanket strewn across the old wooden table that currently holds a small spread of lunch foods I'd laid out. 

After a few weeks of being unable to spend quality time with Eddie due to busy schedules, i suggested we spend a lunch break as just a couple, eating together and catching each other up on our day to day lives. Eddie jumped at the idea, stating, ‘Of course babe! i’ll be there without a doubt!’ 

I sat lightly tapping at the table waiting for him to appear, feeling butterflies in my stomach at the prospect of finally having uninterrupted time with my lovable metal head. A crunching of leaves behind me causes me to jump up and be greeted with said man. 

‘Hello sweetheart’ he smiles. I rush over, throwing my arms around his shoulders and pulling him into an embrace. Instantly, i felt a rush of warmth through me at the proximity. ‘I’m gonna guess you missed me?’ 

I lean back to meet his eyes, seeing that they are already trained on mine, ‘Nah, Ed, i cuddle anyone who comes to this neck of the woods, call it a reward for the journey.’  He chuckles lightly at my response, pressing a kiss to my hairline. 

‘Ah, well, seeing as the journey i took was so treacherous and i lost many a men along the way, could i perhaps ask for more than a cuddle from the fair maiden of the woods?’ He proclaims, running his hands down my sides to lay rest on my waist. 

I pretend to ponder an answer, ‘What do you have in mind good sir?’ He tugs my waist, bring me so i’m pressed against his front, a hand slipping up to the side of my neck and his thumb rubbing softly over my skin. ‘How about this?’ He whispers before dropping his head to place his lips on mine in a kiss dripping with love. 

We stay like this for a few moments, pulling back to rest our foreheads against each other. ‘The best reward i could ask for.’ Eddie smirks. 

‘It’s not the only reward i have.’ I smile, standing back and taking his hand to lead him to the table. I reach my arm over to point at the picnic set out. 

Eddie rounds the side of the table, his eyes tracing the food laid out before bringing them back to mine. ‘Gorgeous, this is so sweet! Thank you.’ He leans back over placing another kiss to my lips before taking a seat. 

I sit opposite, admiring the brightness of his expression as he plates himself up, ‘It’s nothing really, i just figured that since you’ve been so busy with Hellfire and trying to pass your finals, which by the way i’m so proud of you for doing, i thought i’d treat you to a picnic away from all the stresses.’ 

His eyes soften at my admission, reaching his hand out, he grasps mine in his, interlocking our fingers. ‘I don’t know if i tell you this often, and if i don’t then i plan to change that, but i really love you. I haven’t had the easiest of lives and i’m not exactly the best person but having you in my life makes the hardships all worth it. Honestly, how’d i get so lucky?’ 

I don’t know Eddie, but i ask myself the same question each day.

“Sweetheart can you slow down please?” I called out to my oldest daughter as she went racing off ahead of me. She was increasingly energetic seeing as she was finally able to see her father in person for the first time in weeks.

Taron had invited us down to the set of rocketman on a day when he would have time to spare to allow us to meet everyone and check out the set. It was a suggestion he had made over FaceTime a few weeks ago.

“Why don’t you both come and see me? I miss you both so much and I’m sure everyone wants to meet you?” He posed giving puppy eyes.

I smiled back at his expression, “That sounds really good babe...”

“But..” he responded with a cautious tone.

Sighing, I sat up in bed to address him better, “Well, it’s just, you know what y/d/n gets like when she’s been away from you for a while, she won’t let you out of her sight and that will cause a commotion if you have to film a scene or when we go home she’ll throw a tantrum and then I’ll have to deal with it on my own and I already have enough on my plate with this pregnancy and I don’t think I’d have the heart to drag her away from you when she’s in that state”

Taron let out a hearty chuckle at my ranting, “Take a breath sweetheart, ok, I understand. Look, how about you come down in a few weeks? We have a short scene that needs to be filmed and then I have the week to myself so I will be around to help you as much as you need. In regards to when you leave, it will only be a week or two until I will be coming home so y/d/n shouldn’t make too much of a fuss.”

I rattled the idea around in my head, he made a good case and in all honesty I couldn’t see anything wrong with it.

This lead us to where we were today. Y/d/n was frantically searching the area for her dad, desperate to be in his arms again. “Daddy!” She called out with worry in her voice when her efforts proved fruitless. I managed to catch up with her and held her small hand in comfort.

“Darling you can’t run off like that ok? This is a very busy place and you could get hurt, you need to stay with me until we find Daddy.” She nodded with a sad expression.

“Sorry mummy. I just really want to see him.” She replied hiding her face in the fabric of my skirt.

“I know baby, and you will in a minute we just have to be patient.”

A few minutes later the familiar laughter of my husband sounded from nearby signalling he was on his way to meet us. Taron appeared from around the corner of a near by trailer, making our daughter squeal in delight and tug on my hand towards him. He was still dressed in costume clearly having just finished up filming.

“Hello my little love!” He called out to our daughter, crouching down to catch her in his arms.

I let go of her hand as she charged off and raced into her fathers embrace. “DADDY!” She screeched as she made contact, being lifted up in his arms and smothered with kisses.

“I have missed you my girlie! Have you been a good girl for your mummy?” He asked her still showering her with love. She nodded snuggling herself further into his hug.

I smiled softly at the scene abesentmindly resting my hand on my growing stomach at Tarons parental behaviour. He made eye contact with me and made his way over, still holding our daughter.

“Well hello yummy mummy, aren’t you looking gorgeous.” He smirked placing a free arm on my waist.

I felt heat rush to my cheeks as if I was a love struck teenager again. “Hello handsome. I’m loving the look.” I teased at his 70’s attire.

“Why thank you, I think it’s rather flattering. Now do I get a kiss from the most beautiful woman I know?” He moved in closer until his nose pressed against mine.

I giggled at his words and gave in, pressing my lips against his with such adoration. Being pulled away by y/d/n when she wanted the attention of her father again.

He pulled back from our kiss leaving me with a wink before addressing our daughter again. “What is it little one?”

She pointed over in the distance to what looked like an old style car. “Pretty car Daddy!” She cried with excitement. “I know hun, we can go have a look at it later yeah? But I think for now we should go and have a rest.” He suggested giving me a nod.

“Ok.” He lead us to his trailer and settled us in. I took place on the comfortable sofa he had been provided and sighed in relief of being able to relax. Taron soon joined me after giving y/d/n and activity to distract her for a while.

“How is my other little one doing?” He asked scooting down to rest his head next to my belly.

“They have been doing ok, they have discovered how to kick though so mummy gets regular displays of their martial arts skills.” I smiled, brushing my fingers through his thinned out hair.

He chuckled against my stomach, pressing his hand on the side. “Cheeky monkey, other than practicing football, you haven’t had any other problems with them right?” He asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice.

His worry was understandable, during y/d/n pregnancy we’d had a big scare. Resulting in a week in hospital to monitor that she was going to be ok. Ever since that, Taron had been on high alert with anything even remotely medical when it came to both myself and our children.

“No problems darling, we are both doing really well. Nothing to panic about.” He released a breath a relief, placing a kiss against my stomach and sitting back up again.

He placed another kiss against my lips and pulled me into his side for a cuddle. We sat in a soothing embrace just watching our daughter play with a prop from the set Taron had allowed her to use. Feeling so content in the company of our small family, I couldn’t help but let a small tear escape.

This didn’t go unnoticed by Taron who became alert to the splodge that stained my shirt. “What’s wrong?” He asked placing his hands either side of my face.

I laughed through my tears at his worried expression, “nothing, I’m just hormonal and stuff like this gets me emotional. I’m happy darling, really happy.” I reassured him. Making him laugh with me.

Y/d/n snuck up on the sofa and plonked her self in between us. “Mummy’s being silly again.” She giggled.

Taron smirked at our daughter, “Really?” He asked raising his eyebrow at her, “I think I know someone more silly than mummy.” He teased.

Y/d/n sat up and looked to Taron with interest. “Who?”

He took a deep breath before shouting, “You!”

He tackled her down onto the sofa tickling her sides making her laugh her little heart out as well as Taron.

A/N: Before this fic gets started can i just say how lovely it is to see so many new blogs following me. i really appreciate it but i also apologise if i keep disappearing from the blog. Real life tends to get in the way so it will unfortunately be a common thing. On the plus side, i am still writing but i don’t want to ever post anything half arsed on here as it’s not fair on whoever requested it. 

This isn’t great either, so I am so sorry, still trying to get back into writing again.

The flickering light from the t.v was doing its job at maintaining my awake state as I cuddled into the strong embrace of the man beside me. Despite it still being early in the evening, I could hardly avoid sleep due to the warm and comfort I was feeling from Taron’s body acting as a pillow. We had chosen to spend the time we finally had together doing the least energising activities, therefore allowing him to rest after having months of press and filming. It played in well for me tonight however as I wasn’t feeling up to scratch due to the dreadful monthly visitor that was boxing with my uterus.

I didn’t want to bring it up with Taron though as it was never something I wanted to air publicly that I was bleeding to holy hell. Through out the evening it was a difficulty to hide, with cramps coming on strong and causing my body to try and curl itself up. By this point in the evening, I had felt as if I had gone multiple rounds in a boxing ring and just wanted to sleep away the pain, but this night was for spending quality time together to catch up with each other.

“Well I’m sorry but if she can’t see that he’s a bit of a dickhead then she must be blind.” Taron commented aloud with his eyes locked on the shitty dating program that aired on the t.v.

I nodded absentmindedly against his side despite not really knowing what he was talking about but trying to keep his focus on the tv and not on the fact I was clasping at my stomach yet again. Slowly breathing through the pain, I felt the tiredness seep back in until I felt Taron shift from underneath my head.

“Do want another drink babe?” He asked as he finished the last few drops left in his cup.

“Yeah, let me get them though, you relax.” I suggested as I figured a small walk would help ease the tension of my muscles and wake me up a bit.

He frowned a bit, “you sure?” I nodded and collected his and my glasses and stood up.

I turned to head into the kitchen when he stopped me. “Gorgeous, you’ve got something on your backside?” He pointed out.

Shit, this was the last thing I wanted him to see as it just wasn’t pleasant. My face flushed and I felt the wave of embarrassment take over.

“Hey, it’s ok, I get it, here come with me.” He spoke softly grabbing my hand.

He pulled me into the bedroom and hunted out a pair of jogging bottoms and found a pair of underwear I had left at his in case of emergencies such as this. “You slip these on and I’ll stick your bottoms in the wash. Do you want anything else?” He asked lovingly.

I smiled softly at his kind gesture and held on to him in an embrace. “You’re the best, thank you. I really wouldn’t mind some paracetamol and something warm to ease the cramps?”

He nodded placing a sweet kiss on my lips and heading out of the room to leave me to change. Once I was situated I re-entered the open space of his flat to find him preparing a hot water bottle whilst he had left a cold glass of water with two tablets next to it on the counter.

I approached him and cuddled into his back. His free hand came to meet my hands that were on his stomach and gave them a gentle rub. “I love you. Thank you.”

He turned around and pulled me in to his chest and placed a kiss on my head. “You don’t have to thank me love, it’s a natural occurrence you can’t control, I’m happy to help you through it.” He smiled, I reached up returning his kiss.

“Oh and I love you too.”

I stood amoungst the horde of people all swaying to the thumping music of the venue, trying to avoid being crushed between anyone. The rising heat of the room made everything feel that much more uncomfortable while I waited.

Taron had invited me out with his friends to go to a local gig and I couldn’t refuse. He had been out of the country so often lately that it was almost rare for him to be here for more than a week and I wouldn’t allow us to waste any of that time apart. We had gotten by through the use of video chat and phone calls but nothing could beat real face to face contact. So when he suggested it the night before in bed, I was too distracted by the thought of being with him to hesitate.

As I stood waiting for him to return from the bar, I started to seep back into reality. For most of the night I had either Taron or one of his friends with me, which gave me some form of comfort however I was on my own in order to hold our places in the crowd and the rising pressure around me was setting in.

I had trouble with anxiety in the past, it was something which occurred infrequently but when I did have a bad spell that resulted into a panic attack it was difficult to find a way out of it. Taron knew about my situation as he had gone through one of my more stronger attacks near the start of our relationship. He dealt with it like a hero though, and from then on I knew that if I was going into another one, Taron was the one I would look for.

The tightness in my chest was growing even faster the longer I was stood on my own, it was a matter of time before the band would come on stage and the crowd was growing antsy. More people crowded around me, practically engulfing me into the mass, while I struggled even more to gain my breath. I kept looking towards the bar area hoping I would spot my boyfriend making his way back but still had no luck.

I pulled my arms closer around myself in order to gain some comfort but it only made my mind rush more. My lungs felt like they were being incased in a vice, gradually tightening to the point where breathing felt impossible. I closed my eyes hoping for a distraction from the feeling but was pulled out of my concentration by a tap on my shoulder.

“Hey! Are you ok?” I looked over to the source of the voice and saw that it was one of Taron’s friends Jack. I quickly shook my head and glanced around him.

He gave me a soft yet concerned smile, “He’s still over by the bar, do you want me to take you to him?” I hesitated as I didn’t want the boys to lose their place in the crowd but changed my mind once I saw another one of his friends appear.

“Please?” I nodded, Jack swiftly helped me through the crowd until I spotted Taron.

All of a sudden a wave of emotion flooded over me, part relief that I was near him again but mostly feeling of being overwhelmed.

I rushed towards him allowing him to catch me on his arms. “Woah! What’s happened?” He asked worriedly holding me tight.

I held him tightly as well unable to explain what was happening but hoping he would get the message.

Taron moved me away from the bar to give us some more privacy. “Oh, baby is this a panic attack?” I nodded into his chest.

He ran his hand over my back, “alright, you’re ok sweetheart, I’m here just focus on breathing right now ok?”

I took slow and steady breaths with him, copying the way he showed me until I felt like I had some form of control.

I looked up at him only to see him smiling back down at me. He placed a soft kiss to my forehead and temple. “Feeling a bit better?” Taron asked softly as he kept his head close to mine.

I nodded giving him a kiss as a thank you.

“Come on, lets head back in there, I’ll be with you the whole time.” I held his hand and followed him back into the main hall.

We took our places back in the crowd however this time Taron ensured he was stood behind me with his arms locked firmly around me, and placed the odd kiss to the top of my head for reassurance.

A/n: this is the first time I’ve written for Ben Hardy so do excuse me if anything is a bit off, I’m still getting the hang of writing for him. Enjoy!

Tick, tick, tick, fucking tick. The clock on the wall seemed to get louder every second almost as if it was mocking me whilst I sat here waiting for him. Like a woodpecker attacks a tree, the ticks jabbed in a similar fashion on my mind. Despite it being irritating it did give me some form of distraction from the incoming dispute that was about to take place.

Things between Ben and I had been off for weeks. The dynamic we shared only seemed to be one sided, conversations that were had were only ever about the most basic topics such as ‘what’s for dinner?’ Or ‘I’ll be home late, don’t wait up.’ The latter becoming more frequent of late. When he would come home, typically around 3 in the morning, he would merely climb into his side of the bed without a word or even a point of recognition to me being there when before he would at least place a small kiss where he could reach before falling asleep.

I didn’t want to accept anything was wrong at first, I mean Ben was the first person I truly could see things going the distance with, see a full future with. However when I began addressing these issues with close friends, the future I had planned began to crumble.

“Maybe he’s really busy with projects. That can take over anyone’s mind, right?” I would try and convince myself. Trying to excuse his behaviour for being focused on work. To be honest it couldn’t convince anyone, they had all seen how he had changed and they had all warned me of it but I just didn’t want to believe it. I wanted to continue living in this air of ignorance to the problem. It wasn’t until I had seen it for myself that I chose to believe what everyone had been trying to tell me.

Now here I sat. Waiting for him to stroll through the door and pretend as if nothing was going on. I had everything that I wanted to say ready in my mind as well as any belongings I would need if things go south. Glancing back up to the irritatingly loud clock seeing that it was about five minutes before he would be here, I noticed the small framed photo that was kept since the start of our relationship. It was a picture of the two of us in a loving embrace on a small getaway we had taken. Seeing the absence of dark secrets and upset between the two of us hurt to see. That adorable couple who were so in love no longer existed.

I inhaled deeply and got up to remove the photo from the wall. Perhaps it would come as a reminder to Ben of what we once were. Maybe he would regret his actions and feel heartache like I had been. The only thing I did know would come out of this would be closure.

The sound of a key entering the lock caused me to turn around. Here he was, slipping through the door again after staying out until the early hours of the morning. He pushed the door just enough for him to fit through and placed his keys back in the bowl. Ben still hadn’t noticed me stood by the sofa as he kept his concentration on staying quiet. He turned around and pulled out his phone, from the movement of his fingers he was clearly texting someone and I had a good knowledge of who.

I couldn’t keep silent any longer so I made myself known. “You’re back late.”

Ben jumped harshly in shock when he noticed me. Holding his chest he stared back at me with widened eyes.

“Y/n, babe what you.. uh why aren’t you in bed?” He stuttered out.

“Couldn’t sleep.”

He walked over to me reaching out for my hand. Which I moved away from me.

“Ah, ah, I wouldn’t do that right now if I were you.” I warned giving him a glare.

He looked confused but in his eyes I could see he knew exactly what was happening.

“What’s wrong? Why are you being like this?”

I couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief. He had the audacity to ask why I was acting odd with him when he had been off with me for weeks.

“Why? You can’t think of anything that could be the reason?”

He frowned, “look I don’t know what you are talking about, is this because I’m home late? I mean if that’s the reason then I’m sorry but I had shit to do”

“You mean someone to do.” Bens face dropped at the realisation.

“I’m gonna take it from the look on your face that it’s finally sunk in has it. I know everything, every detail of what and who you have been doing so don’t even try to bullshit your way out of this.”

Ben dropped his head much like a guilty puppy, “I didn’t mean to hurt you. You know that right?”

“Didn’t mean to hurt me? Are you serious? You have been fucking some other girl for weeks on end and you thought that it wouldn’t affect me. You aren’t thick Ben, you’re just a bastard. What made you chose to do this? Did you just get bored of me and couldn’t be fucked to break things off like a decent person? Was that it?”

He shook his head, tears now starting to make an appearance. “No, y/n I still love you, I just, I don’t know why I’ve done what I have. If I could take it back I would. Please, please just don’t think I don’t care about you.”

His words sounded like they were meaningful, like he was being truthful to me and that he really was sorry for what he had done. But it was too late. He had done it one too many times and it was too damn late for him to take it back now.

I walked over to him, still holding the photo and placed it in his hand.

“You know what, I want to believe you, I really do cause believe it of not I still love you. Fuck I would go to say that I will always love you but what you have done can’t be taken back, and apology won’t solve it no matter how many times you say the word. You’ve hurt me, betrayed the trust that I had for you that can’t be fixed with sorry. I want you to look at that photo and remember how we were. The two loved up teens that would do anything for each and were only in love with each other. That is what you broke. That is what you have thrown away and that is what you won’t be getting back. So I’m done, I wish you well cause I’m still a decent person and I hope that she make you happy Ben.”

Leaving him still stood staring down at the photo, tears streaming down his face, I picked up my bag and walked to the door. Stopping to look back at the man I was leaving behind. “I love you and I’m sorry.” He whispered with pain lacing his voice.

I sighed and opened the door walking out, “Goodbye Benjamin Jones.”

“Eggsy! Can you come here a sec?” I called out as best I could despite the reduced capacity of my voice. I had been tucked up in bed all day after waking up to a head full of cold and feeling like I had been beaten up from the inside out. Fair to say I wasn’t doing great.

The sound of Eggsy’s footsteps grew louder as he popped his head around the door, “Everything ok?” His voice was muffled from his shirt he had comically pulled over his mouth and nose.

I rolled my eyes at his gesture before patting his side of the bed. “Can you come cuddle with me?” I pleaded, giving him the best puppy eyes I could.

He stood further in the doorway staring cautiously at me. I patted the bed once more however instead of my boyfriend coming over and joining me, JB came rushing in instead and scrambled his way up the bed.

“Hey, there you go. JB will cuddle with you. Do you want anything to eat?” He smiled pulling his shirt back down.

I pouted at him, trying to make him change his mind and come over but he held his ground. “You know I would come and cuddle with you, but I really don’t want to get sick love.”

“Fine, well seeing as you won’t cuddle can you get me some soup and some tea, maybe a bit of toast too.”

He nodded and turned to leave, “oh and some honey in the tea and a few biscuits too, thanks babe.” Eggsy raised his eyebrow at my demand.

“Sure I can’t get you anything else darling?”

I shook my head at him and he turned away and headed out the room.

When he returned he had a tray laid out with my requested items.

“Here you go.” He smiled as he placed it down on the bed.

I returned his grin and grabbed his hand, running my thumb over the back of it as a small gesture of love, “thanks nurse Unwin”

“Yeah, yeah. You gonna be alright if I go to my office for a bit?”

I nodded whilst taking a sip of my drink, feeling the warm liquid starting to soothe my body.

“Ok, you look after her alright mister.” He told JB giving him a quick scratch on his head. Eggsy turned to me placing his hand on my shoulder and leaning down to give my forehead a quick kiss.

“Get well soon love.”
