Panacea (Pandora): The Tower

This guy here is Panacea, though is very often referred to as Pandora by many of the Tarot. This is because he's the embodiment of The Tower, and it quite lives up to the name. They will often leave a Tower card wherever he has gone, warning of impending disaster, but most of the time when it's found it's far far too late.

He tends to be quite an asshole, making light of the harm it causes. They don't find most humans to be of much value, so it doesn't tend to care about the mass loss of life. With the other Tarot, he teases and bullies, making many afraid and many tend to avoid it outright out of hatred. It's actually where the nickname Pandora came from, as a mocking nickname.

In reality, though, he cares quite a lot for the other Tarot. Because he can't read emotions well, especially since most of the time the base they have for others is fear or discomfort, he can't tell when they are hurting others. Any Tarot that shows or tells clear discomfort over a topic will find it will not bully them, as he finds it to be lighthearted teasing rather than anything meant to harm. And while he does has little care for human life, they are not apathetic completely. Their dark humor is how it copes with the damage it causes. There have been many humans that have grown close to it over the years.

Anansi (Vicar): The Moon

The Tarot AU is a collaborative project.

Finally he’s arrived! The Moon Tarot card (which shocker I know who could’ve seen this coming) His true name is Anansi, but no one except those closest to him know that, as he always introduces himself as Vicar.

For the most part, he is a trickster, speaking to people in long words and confusing them to no end. As he is one of the Tarot that has the most interactions with humans, reading their fortunes and futures (based off their subconscious, of course), he has quite the soft spot for them. He wishes to guide those who truely wish to be better for the future they seek.

He despises regular drugs, and will often go out of his way to destroy any and all he comes across. He finds the harm they do despicable, and the people who pray on others using them just as bad. Instead, he has made his own to replace them, alternative magical drugs that he gives out. Because he is quite aware of everyone that comes to him for some, he can give the drugs they need for something, rather than the patch fix normal ones provide. The effects can range from just a magically enhanced tea to giving a full blown experience that's different each time you take it, but there is never any negative side effects or withdrawal symptoms.

Vicar can read the subconscious through the smoke that emits from his pipe. It’s a rather powerful artifact due to the constant flow of magic and is nigh unbreakable. His realm is a vast ocean dotted with islands and on those islands are where his “servants” live in tents similar to his own. He prefers to call them residents though as he feels calling them his “servants” has bad implications and isn’t entirely accurate. While Vicar is pretty chill most of the time it doesn’t mean he’s without a mischievous side. His type of humor is pretty sarcastic and a little dark (he deals with the worst of the subconscious. Gotta cope with that somehow).

He’s best friends with The Tower, otherwise known as Panacea. He’s one of the only Tarot who have genuinely gotten to know and understand The Tower, which makes him all the more frustrated the more Panacea is misunderstood or excluded.

To the other Tarot, he tends to act as a guide and friend. He doesn't take shit, but will help whenever it's required or needed. He does this with humans he takes under his wing too, helping them through life and sometimes even death.

There is one thing to keep in mind with him though… you should never touch his pipe without his permission.

While The Moon is typically the most calm of the tarot, it does not mean he can’t get angry. Seeing the Primordial form of a Tarot is never a good thing. But seeing his? …Well. Let’s just say you’ll be getting exactly what you deserve.

Can we please have some more Tarot! Moon lore?

GASP WHICH ONE I HAVE SEVERAL! I can- I can give some lore for each I suppose!

- Tarot!Silver: He’s got a pet mechanical snake named noodle! It can change size and is just a big sweetie! Uh- hold on I might have some art of them around here somewhere… forgive the quality of the first one… it was a rough draft of what he could look like. TuT also have… this drawing I did a while ago of silver and a waffle! There is context for it. …Dw about it xd

- Tarot!Vicar: He’s not the strongest in terms of brute strength but when it comes to the mind he’s one of the best! As you can imagine being able to read one’s mind and… completely control their body through their nerves can be seen as morally dubious. So while it’s something he can do he finds it makes him uncomfortable to breach his friends privacy so utterly. When it comes to mind reading humans though he has no real qualms with it. (He is also deeply insecure over his strength because of a certain incident but I can’t reveal that at the moment, sorry!) here’s some sketches from a while back as well as the first concept art I did of him.

Tarot!Ainar: They are… very bulliable. And while they could be considered one of the most destructive tarot (without their gloves and besides The Tower) they actually quite hate their abilities. They’re quite lonely as well, with their general demeanor and job overall. I can’t say much about them unfortunately since they have yet to be revealed but they’re a real sweetie! I can’t show much art of them either… but I do have what their hand looks like! (Why is the quality so shit-)

Lastly I have… CONCEPT ART! For a moon. …yes another one I won’t be taking criticism. Which tarot are they??? …They sure are one of them! Anyway this won’t be their final design but I didn’t want them to just rot away in my folders so… ta da…!
