I couldn't find a good cloth around the house to wrap my newly-recovered old tarot deck, so I knitted up a case for it using a pattern I found on ravelry... and I kind of love it. 🤗

As much as I love the Tarot decks that come with the large books, I don’t like it when they don’t have a smaller box for the deck. I’m not going to lug around that big box if I want to take my deck somewhere. And those beautiful Tarot boxes and drawstring bags can get expensive! Then I had a brilliant thought:

INDEX CARD BOXES

I got this one at Target a few years ago during back-to-school season. It cost me less than $2. It fits the Tarot deck perfectly. And I happened to have an appropriate sticker on hand to decorate the box!

And if I want to tote around my book too, I have this wonderfully mermaidtastically perfect book sleeve for it.

And ta-dah! This mermaid witch is ready for some land travels and diving!

Any ideas for cleansing digital decks?

I have the Animal Divine tarot Deck app (available on the App Store, not available on Android) on my iPad and was wondering what ways I can cleanse it? I'm assuming I would cleanse the whole iPad since it's basically like the deck's case, but I don't know the best way to go about cleansing technology/devices. Any ideas would be great!

So, I managed to finish the prototype of my ... 🌛TAROT DECK CASE 🌜 . I have a deck of my own and thought it would be nice to have a more durable case then a simple cotton bag. Do you like it? I want to incorporate more things. Like a little pocket for a crystal or an oil vesel. I myself like to use my favorite scented oil before casting. What do you use? Let me know in the comments! All done! It’s a bit big for a bare deck with no box, but it’s the perfect size for The Wild Unknown Tarot in her box. I finished it with clear quartz and fluorite for cleansing and absorbing/neutralizing negative energy. Something like this, but smaller would also be perfect as a spell sachet or pocket altar. Throw in some bottles of herbs, stones, candles, et voila!  I’m still not 100% on this design.. i love the central square with it’s sun moon stars imagery, but I think I need to refine the shape/construction. Anywho! I might make these for sale. I’m thinking for all the time and materials that $30 is fair. I do also have some gorgeous wool yarns that are very fine quality that I could make one of these for around $45. I could also customize the  crystals on the tassels to your needs. I’m looking for feedback more than orders right now. Feedback on design and size mostly. What do you think? Perfect for all your small witchy doings I think ✨
