A concept I’ve been sitting on for quite a while, and I just had to share this art because I am super happy with how it turned out~!

If you know anything about Tarot cards you’d know that the “Death” card is actually not as grim as people would think it would be. The death card is actually quite interesting! When “Death” is in upright position it means it is a time of significant transformation, change, and transition. While in the reverse position though, it can mean that you are on the verge of meaningful change but are resisting it. 

So I thought too myself that what if there was a Magical Boy who was themed around the card “Death”? What if he was a closeted transgendered teen? Only when he is in his magical form is he more free to express himself, is able to be who he is, the Upright. But when he is in his civilian form, he is hidden, the Reversed?

So depending on how you look at this card he is either open and reaching out to himself, wanting to transition and make the change. Or he is turned away, closed off and resisting the change, too afraid to take that step.

Also since the card is “Death” i decided to pull from other inspirations of death, mostly  those of the Latino variety, with sugar skulls and day of the dead paint. Also the card they are laying on is technically not a tarot card. But I felt like if I had made it an actual tarot card it would’ve been too busy, so I made it look like a playing card lol. I did use the flower that they sometimes have in those cards!

Tarot-Themed Writing Commissions

      For Valentine’s Day, I’m going to be doing some new Tarot-Themed Writing Commissions. So you’re probably wondering what in the heck these are; well, let me explain…  

  You pick;    

  1 Major Arcana Tarot Card + Your Couple + Song, Image, or Word Prompt.

Then I will ask about your pairing; (If they are OC’S or Spirit Companions I will ask more information about them: their personalities, physical attributes, etc.)

And will write based on these three factors. It can be NSFW or SFW.

One pairing per commission. 

  Excerpt Example:     

The Lovers + Dean Winchester x Reader (You) + The Forest (NSFW)

        “Deep blue eyes gazed into yours, firm hands laying your naked body against the soft grass of the forest floor. The sky was darkening, bursting with colors as the sun set. His soft teasing pulled your eyes back to his. Your body was humming with need, lips moving down to catch yours in a rough kiss.”

Prices:

Since I am having health problems, I am taking 3 Urgent slots.

Urgent Slots: $10.00 for 500-1,000 words. (These will be done within one week.)

Regular Slots: $8.00 for 500-1,000 words. (These will be done within two weeks.)

Tarot asks and answers. i picked these by drawing my own cards (yep, i got tarot cards. who wants a reading?) cos i feel like answering some questions. of course, now i feel like doing tarot readings as well. *sigh*. i need to properly learn the card meanings so i can read for people whenever i want. anyways, here goes:

wheel of fortune: how's your luck?

My luck is pretty balanced i think. I don’t think i’m particularly lucky either way. lovers: does someone need to share your values for you to pursue a relationship?

Yes and no. we can have differences of opinions on things, but our moral values and principles should probably be similar.

Star: what religious beliefs do you have?

I don’t really prescribe to religion, but if i had to pick a religion it would be old norse. 

Devil: is there anything you're addicted to?

Standing by the stereo, i’m feeling so alone. Back against the speaker and i’m moving on my own. Surrounded by so many and they’re staring at my face. They’re picking up my problem;  I’m totally addicted to bass... sun: do you believe optimism is always good?

No. Optimism is great, and your should always try to look on the bright side, but 100% optimist 100% of the time can’t be good for you. I don’t see how you could do it. surely the fact that not everything is good and works out would break you if you refused to see it? i dunno man
