Astrophelle recently died and, barely a week after being revived, was betrayed by a close friend, who nearly killed Astro’s brother Amadeus in the process of said Betrayal. Even more recently (i.e. just last session), Astrophelle lost her right arm to a strange otherworldly entity (technically she lost it to her brother’s sword, but that was because of said entity), and has noticed spidery cracks spreading out across her chest- similar cracks having previously been seen manifesting on and badly hurting those with an extraplanar connection.

“Astrophelle really went through the wringer”- my DM as we reflected on last session together. 

But on the plus side, there’s apparently an Astro-centric story coming up that my DM thinks I’ll enjoy, which is nice! And she asked me how I feel about Astro getting permanent wings one day and I’m like...I would never not be okay with that, this is fantastic!!!
