You Don't Need A Licence For That (Ch 2, 5.5K words, Rated M)
Summary:
Crowley works for the city council and is responsible for issuing licences and permits. Aziraphale seems to be hoarding them. Crowley should really reject some of those applications. And he will, once he is done pining over Aziraphale. Really, he will!
And a little excerpt as I kept giggling writing this part specifically!
Aziraphale seemed deep in thought. "How about if I use them? Would I need a licence for that?" Oh, Someone. Not even a fucking mountain would have been able to hide the full body shiver those words caused Crowley. "What do you- What do you mean by that? Use what?" He shouldn't have asked that. He should. Not. Have asked that. He had always been told his curiosity was his best and worst quality. "Well, Muriel, they sold me a few toys. They tried to give them to me at first, a sort of welcome to the neighbourhood gift. I told them I could never accept such a thing, this is a business, I told them, and only accepted the welcome basket once they had let me pay for it fully. Although I do suspect they gave me a great discount, to tell you the truth." Aziraphale looked at him as if he was waiting for his input, as if this was not a story of someone gifting him a basket full of sex toys and Crowley felt like he was going to scream.
(Only time will tell if I will ever stop making jokes about this!)

You Don't Need A Licence For That (1/2 chapters, 5.7K works, Rated M)
Summary:
Crowley works for the city council and is responsible for issuing licences and permits. Aziraphale seems to be hoarding them. Crowley should really reject some of those applications. And he will, once he is done pining over Aziraphale. Really, he will!
Just a little excerpt, to see the kind of dumbassary we are dealing with here,
"Look at you, you are gorgeous," he whispered and only realised he had done so when he heard a gasp from above him. Crowley hesitated for a moment. It almost felt like if he took his eyes off the application form, one of his colleagues might decide to steal it from him. A fear, he knew, that was completely unfounded. Hastur remained blissfully unaware, and borderline illiterate. Ligur was too busy growling menacingly at the still growing queue of people tickling inside the building, despite the fact they were closing in 10 minutes. And Shax and Furfur... he didn't even want to know where they had fucked off to. Emphasis on the fuck. Crowley raised his head, still, because he wanted to know who had been the one to pen the most gorgeous thing to ever grace his desk. And he stared. Oh, but he had been wrong. This was the most beautiful sight he had ever laid his eyes upon.
BEWARE! This angel has a dangerous wild animal licence! Only time will tell what other licences he will add to his growing collection!
You Don't Need A Licence For That
Yet another Ineffable Meet-Cute fic, in which Crowley works for the local council and is grumpy and mean to everyone, but Aziraphale. Who seems to be hoarding licences and permits (I told you guys I would write it! Eventually...)
First chapter coming to you this Saturday! But until then, here is a little sneak peek,
"I thought you were opening a book shop?" Crowley asked, voice scratchier than it should have been when discussing paperwork. Aziraphale, at least, seemed grateful for the change of topic. And decided to approach the new one with what Crowley was starting to suspect was his normal level of enthusiasm. "I am, yes! It is going extremely well. We are to open in a few weeks time, in fact! Something I doubt we would have been able to do if not for the miracle you worked with the business licence. I previously heard it takes months to get it. I was talking to Nina. From across the road, you see, she runs this gorgeous coffee shop, and she said that the people working here were- Oh, never you mind what she said. She was very clearly wrong." How utterly. Adorable. Crowley had never used that word so many times in his life. And yet, it still remained the most appropriate one. "You don't need a premises licence for a bookshop," he reminded the other man, waving the form in front of his face. He would have thought it was a mistake, but the form was, once again, filled out perfectly. There was no way someone completed an extensive operating schedule without realising what they were doing. Aziraphale raised a finger. Somehow, it just added to the cuteness. "Ah, that is where you are wrong, my dear fellow. What if people were to get peckish? I would be a terrible host if I could not offer them tea and biscuits."
You Don't Need A Licence For That (Ch 3/3, Rated M)
Summary:
Crowley works for the city council and is responsible for issuing licences and permits. Aziraphale seems to be hoarding them. Crowley should really reject some of those applications. And he will, once he is done pining over Aziraphale. Really, he will!
And a little excerpt of our idiots living their best domestic life,
"You are home early," Aziraphale's golden curl, the only visible part of him poking through the door, said accusingly. It was also the first thing the other man had said to him on the day of their anniversary. Face to curl, that was. Crowley already had a full-on essay about how much Aziraphale adored and cherished him, saved onto his phone. And his laptop, just in case. He had long ago lost his ability to be surprised by the angel's actions. And he had never learnt how to be actually mad at the gorgeous creature he now called his partner. "Yeah, well, anniversary, isn't it? Not gonna spend a second longer than I have to in that cavern abandoned even by Satan." Crowley shrugged, not that the other man could see him. He wasn't about to mention how long he had spent begging and ultimately bribing Bee so he could leave early. The golden curl was replaced by half of the most dazzling smile he had ever been subjected to, and Crowley kept a list, he knew it was true, and one sparkling eye. "That is simply wonderful, my darling," the mouth gushed, without once dropping the smile. "But I'm not ready yet so you need to go run the bookshop now."
(And I'm not telling you which licence the angel will get this time because that would be cheating 🤭🤭)
