Task # 12: How kinky are you?
♕ how kinky are you?
task 12 ♡
“Dad...Come on...” Savanna yelled from the bottom of the stairs. “What’s taking you so long?” She asked dramatically. Not much had changed in the last decade. At least not personality wise. Savanna had always been a spit fire. She had always been the type of girl who went after the things she wanted, and driving a car was no different. The second she passed her permit test she was begging Declan to take her out driving. He had been pushing it off for days. Not because he wasn’t confident in the brunette’s ability to handle a motorized vehicle, but because he was afraid to admit to himself that his little girl was growing up. “If you don’t take me...I’ll just ask Ransom. You can’t keep me off the road forever.” Savvy teased as DC finally came down the stairs wearing Timothy’s football pads and helmet. “I’m as ready as I'll ever be.” He smirked and she couldn’t help but roll her eyes. “You really think all of that is necessary? You’ve been letting me drive your truck since I could reach the pedals.” Declan looked over his shoulder to make sure Victoria wasn’t behind him. Letting Savanna drive his truck on their property had been their secret and he was pretty sure Vic still had no idea he allowed it. “Can never be too safe…” He chuckled as he handed his keys over.
“You’re not going to let her drive on the road, are you Declan?” Vic asked as she came down the stairs a few minutes later. She assumed he would teach Savanna how to drive exactly how he taught Timmy. In an empty parking lot...with no other cars around. “I...uh….No. What do I look like? An Idiot?” Declan stammered and tried to play it off. He returned the keys back to his pocket with a wink to Savanna. He hoped she knew that he was just trying to reassure her mother that nothing bad was going to happen. “Please, please, please be safe out there.” Victoria said to them both. Savanna was her baby...All the kids were her, but she was taking this moment the hardest because Savvy was her youngest. She was already too independent for her own good. She had been since she was three, but now they were giving her the means to leave whenever she wanted and letting go scared Vic to death. “Mom...We’re going to be fine. I promise.” Savvy spoke. She gave her mother’s hand a gentle squeeze and kissed her cheek before heading out the door. “I’ll keep her safe.” Declan promised.
----------
“You’re really gonna make me drive in a parking lot?” Savvy asked as Declan parked in an abandoned lot outside of The Chick-N-Strip. He sat in the driver’s seat for a moment to collect his thoughts. This would be the last time he’d teach one of his kids how to drive...A task he was actually good at despite his level of patience at any given moment. “Seriously though...Can you please lose the hockey gear? You’re embarrassing me.” The brunette asked as she unbuckled her seatbelt so they could switch places. Declan nodded in agreement and laughed. It didn’t matter to him that Savanna and Timothy weren’t biologically his... They were his children through and through. Adopting them turned out to be one of the best decisions of his life. Not only because they finally got the dad they deserved, but because it gave him a second chance to be the dad he never was for Ransom and Dottie. David had pretty much given up on being a father after losing the custody battle. He still sent birthday cards and Christmas gifts, but he hadn’t physically seen Savanna or Timothy in years. He was too busy with his new family in Los Angeles.
“Ya sure yer ready for this?” DC questioned as he got out of the car to take off the hockey gear per Savvy’s request. He was honestly more confident with her driving ability than he was when he taught Timmy house to drive last year. If there was one admirable quality about Savanna Madelyn Deschaine, it was her gift to pick things up so effortlessly. She excelled at most things whether it be a sport, activity, hobby, or job. That was a quality he knew she inherited from Victoria because she was the same way. “I’ve been ready, dad.” She replied with a confident grin when he finally handed the keys over.
Savvy slid into the driver’s seat and adjusted the mirrors with a shaky hand. She didn’t know why she was so nervous. This was something she had done [without Victoria’s knowledge] hundreds of times before. There was no reason for her to be so anxious. Before she could put the keys in the ignition, Declan placed his hand on top of hers. For a moment he said nothing...He just stared out the windshield. “What?” Savanna asked when she couldn’t take the silence any longer. He grinned. “Remember when you were little how you would beg and beg for me and yer ma ta get ya a motorcycle?” Declan chuckled slightly. “Couldn’ta been more than six or seven…” He continued. “Yer ma didn’t even wanna let you an’ Timmy sit on it…” He shifted in his seat to look at her. “She was just tryin’a protect ya.” He chewed at his bottom lip slightly. “You were sooooo mad when ya found out I was teachin’ her how ta ride. Ya didn’t understand why she got’a do it an’ you didn’t.” Declan laughed. Savanna was such a little risk taker back then...She still was... and just like her mama, she wore her heart on her sleeve and didn’t sugar coat anything. “That was the same summer I taught ya how’ta ride a bike.”Savanna remembered that summer very well. It was the same summer of her seventh birthday. A lot had happened that year. Victoria surprised her with a new colt and a brand new bicycle... She and Declan got remarried with only close friends and family there to support them, and by some miracle David actually agreed to sign over his parental rights so Declan could adopt Savanna and Timothy. Savvy remembered everything like it was yesterday.
“I remember. Mom got me that bike that looked like a motorcycle.” She smiled. “Man...I loved that bike. You and mom would have to physically pull me off it or I’d never come inside.” Savanna laughed. “What do ya think mom’ll say when she finds out I wanna get my motorcycle license?” The brunette arched a brow. Declan couldn’t tell if she was teasing or being serious, but he had a feeling she meant what she said. “Let’s focus on one thing at’a time.” He ruffled her hair like he used to do when she was little. “You're right. We probably shouldn't tell mom that you’re finally gonna teach me how to ride a motorcycle anyway.” She grinned. Savanna wasn’t sure if Declan’s little trip down memory lane was to put her mind at ease or his, but she felt more confident now.
With a turn of the key the car came to life and they were off.
Task 12
Barcelona News
June 18, 2012
Daughter of politician Roberto DeCruz and dance sensation, Katarina DeCruz, has been checked into Barcelona’s mental facility after a massive breakdown. When questioned, Roberto had no comments about his only child’s mental state and refused to answer any further questions on the matter. No word as to who checked the dancer in, but sources say she went involuntarily.
According to sources close to Katarina, what caused her mental break down was her boyfriend of 3 years, Mario Sanchez, was seen by DeCruz talking to his ex-girlfriend on June 16. With the past the two old lovers had, DeCruz appeared to be unhappy about the two talking and being near each other and confronted Sanchez which resulted in an argument between the two. Our sources have informed us that DeCruz has a jealous and possessive attitude when it comes to those she is seeing and has often started the fights between old lovers when she saw them talking to someone she did not approve of.
When DeCruz saw the two ex-flames talking, it sparked a massive fight that continued to the next day after finding out that Sanchez cheated on her. The argument escalated quickly and neighbors then called the cops after hearing the two yelling and a few things breaking. From a short interview we did with Sanchez, he said the fight started with DeCruz searching his phone and then began yelling at him. It all went downhill when DeCruz grabbed numerous glasses and other various items and started throwing them at Sanchez.
“I didn’t think it was much of a big deal at first. We fought a lot, it wasn’t a very healthy relationship but none of us could seem to break it off so we just stayed together for 3 years. Then when she started yelling and throwing things I knew that was that and this couldn’t happen again. She’s crazy.”
-Mario Sanchez on Katarina DeCruz
DeCruz and Sanchez both walked out of the fight after the cops were called. DeCruz had some cuts on her hands from breaking glasses and Sanchez had a minor cut on his arm from it. Since then, Katarina DeCruz was sent to Barcelona’s Sherriff’s Department for questioning and then went to the mental facility. The DeCruz family has refused to say if they checked her in, if she checked herself in, or if the police made that decision for them. As to how long our favorite dancer will be in is a mystery to everyone.

Today I watched an episode of That 70′s show: “I’m a boy” (season 6). To be brief, in this episode Kelso struggles to get a date with Brooke, a girl he met at a concert. At the same time Eric started his new job as a waiter and discovers a way to get more attentions from Donna and his mother. As a result he becomes a slacker.
New word of the day:
Slacker = One who shirks work or responsibility.
