A tasty take on P.F. Chang's famous orange chicken, with flavorful orange sauce covering soft chicken pieces.
Ingredients: 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1/4 cup cornstarch. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1/2 cup orange juice. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon grated ginger. 1 teaspoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon orange zest. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional. 2 green onions, sliced for garnish.
Instructions: Coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. In a separate bowl, mix together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, orange zest, and red pepper flakes. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the chicken. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
