This depiction of angels descending on a ravaged battlefield is one of many series of wall paintings that an unknown artist produced for the Minamoto Church. The angel on the left matches the most common description of Permissium, the angel of empowerment. However, the angel carrying the wheel of fortune is unknown, as there is no historical evidence prior to the discovery of this painting that describes the wheel being carried by an angel.
