Daxie shifted beneath the covers with a quiet murmur, tail thumping against the pile of pillows once.  Beside her nestled the particular sort of warmth of another person, and as the sunlight peeked through the double doors leading into her deck, the former Matria squirmed and rolled onto her side toward it.  With unapologetic fondness, the curvy lady ducked her head between Taulin’s shoulders with a muttered grumble, wiggling her arms underneath and over the more slender Aurin. 

Taulin giggled at the tickle of violet curls against her back, writhing just slightly until Daxie squished herself up against the other Aurin’s back more fully and hid her face against the back of her neck.

"Iss too early…"

(OOC:  This pair would be pretty cute and playful as a couple!  Playful, cheerful and friendly, Taulin would be a good counter to all of the icky stuff beneath the surface plaguing Daxie.  One thing Dax does consistently for people she cares for is cook.  A LOT of cooking, so Taulin would have no shortage of food!  At the same time, she’s also very tenacious and protective of the people she’s fond of, so I think Taulin’s energy—and kind of calmer nature in that regard—would compliment each other well.

It’ll take a lot for Daxie to develop romantic feelings with people other than very particular ones, but I’d ship it. :3)

Tau and Ven? Venyar would flirt oh yes he would. If she reciprocated be prepared for a wild night of fun! If she declined that kind of advancement he’d still talk to her, get to know her, he’s not above that. He’s willing to make friends after all. But then again, I think he’d just slowly but surely attempt to corrupt her, caring or otherwise. This is not a relationship Taulin would want to attempt, she’d have to make her boundaries VERY clear, otherwise Ven would be constantly pushing buttons to see what works and what doesn’t.

The Cassian purses his lips slightly, fiddling with the tip of his beard.  “Miss Grapewing is… she is exuberant.  Young, inexperienced, but passionate.  If she does not learn temperance, she will end up losing those around her that she cares for.”  Hands fold loosely in his lap, and he lofts his brows a little.  “Possibly by her own hand.”

"Perhaps I can be of assistance in instructing her on calmness.  If her friends are wont to being captured by individuals inclined toward torture, she ought to be able to rescue them without…"  He overturns his palm with a curl of fingers, then offers a one-shouldered shrug.  "Well.  I believe she would benefit from some lessons, if she will tolerate me long enough for them."

"There are others I can suggest if the case is otherwise."

Daxie

"She makes me envious and makes me mad at the same time."  The Matria blinks for a moment, then slowly glances to one side.  "I wish I could actually have faith in people like that again.  I wish I could just… accept people like that again.  She seems really nice and really sweet."  Daxie pokes the tips of her fingers lightly together.  "I wonder how much of it is real…"

"I… I want to get to know her better.  And hopefully she doesn’t hold our first meeting against me."

((I have chosen to go with Jespaer, who is rocking his finest pair of leather pants, a blue turtleneck and black vest and a lovely pair of stiletto heels, because why not? ;D))

Jespaer blinks, cheshire ears twitching a few times before he glances over at the very grapey colored aurin. He offers her an awkward smile, since his perpetually grumpy face made all attempts to look anything but grumpy a little off somehow. "Oh, thank you. I appreciate the compliment, miss." he responds in that soft, kind tone of his. His multi-colored tail sways a bit more energetically behind him then he probably realizes.
