Recent reads!
I wanted to share a bit of myself with my followers who don’t know my preferences in regards to literature.
My amazing friend @cipherninethousand has been such a blessing to me ever since we met! We hit it off right from the start and recently I think of her more and more as a sister.
Since amazon has an amazing feature that let’s you share your Kindle library, we joined our accounts as such to make sure that we could share books with one another. This feature is especially amazing considering I live halfway across the country (us) from her!
Recently @cipherninethousand told me to look into books by Megan Derr ( @maderr ) and after getting into the Tavamara series I am extremely happy I listened!
Megan Derr writes wonderful tales of a fantasy world in this series. The bisexuality and polyamory is such a big part of how these books are so wonderful. The deep level of commitment and love featured in most (excluding king kagan’s relationships) of the relationships and how they strongly emphasize how everything that is done in the loving relationships is consensual is truly wonderful. It emphasizes the fact that it’s not wrong to love people of different genders. It’s also not wrong to love more than one person.
The Tavamara series got me through a rough week at work and currently I am actually still reading it, I’m on "The Harem Master" right now after starting with "The Menagerie: Lynx" and then reading the other two books in the series (Sandstorm is my current favorite! All the adventure!).
I will post more about what books I’ve been reading lately another time, but I wanted to ensure that I thoroughly covered my new love of @maderr’s writing.
