So in this year's Art Fight I was lucky enough to get an attack from @witchfromeden , and I still adore her piece of my Acorn and Lae'zel! I wasn't able to finish my revenge in time, but I NEVER FORGET! I have been working on this on and off since then, and finally got past a chronic fatigue wave to finish this piece of Estrid and Gale.
When I worked on this I had so much fun with the little details. The book itself is from Baldur's Gate 3, Magic of the Weave - An Introduction. Why are they reading an introductory book? Well, I like to this Gale gets a kick out of nitpicking the errors and inconsistencies, and Estrid can't help but adore his yapping 💜
I really hope you like it, Eden! Thank you so much again, I can't wait to meet you again in the Art Fight battlefield next year! >:D
huge shout out to these two's height difference
Celestya Archon, half-elf of Tethyr, better known as Tya the Storyteller, found herself trapped on an Illithid ship and is now trying to rid her brain of an unwanted guest, together with a motley crew of companions. Same old story.
What you may not know is that Celestya has formed a stronger bond with two of them. One out of affection, one almost out of fun. Gale, the first, is Mystra's ex-boyfriend. To impress his old flame, he made a huge mistake, and now his divine lover is demanding an exorbitant price for his actions. Tya is against him surrendering to the Goddess's unfounded demands and tries unsuccessfully to talk to him, but he seems convinced of his decision. Frustrated by the situation, the bard runs away, determined to let off steam and deal with her anger and sadness alone. But her second interest, Astarion, has a completely different idea. According to his predatory instinct, this is the best opportunity to attack and steal his rival's prey.
