It’s Fucking Cold
@sahlintalas He trudged up the towering steps, taking it in long strides. His pace was as hurried as he could physically manage, but he did take momentary pauses to appreciate his surroundings. The emprise was much too cold and much too dismal for his liking. His bones ached, his magic ached and his fingers froze in place under his cloak, curled like wounded claws. His body and soul felt stiff, but he couldn’t deny the beauty of Suledin Keep itself. It was remarkable. The structure clearly housed the soul of his ancestors. The buildings were slender and towering in a way that was both menacing and graceful at once. He had been to many ruins like it before, but it was different there, more somber perhaps. He finally found someone of importance to speak to, and asked where Sahlin was. That was his top priority, after all. It was easy to find the location, considering there was only one Dalish healer in the Inquistion. And he knew Sahlin was there for quite a long time so, frankly, he would have been offended if the officer wasn’t familiar with the name. Tavis spotted Sahlin while he was working, and approached him quietly. “Ma lath,” he announced, a smile gleaming across his cheeks. He reached out to gently close fingers around Sahlin’s arm before drawing him, unceremoniously, into a large embrace. He entirely ignored the fact that he had interrupted whatever the other man was doing. Hopefully it wasn’t too important.
