ANIMORPHS STAMPS
Free to use, no credit required/Use à vontade :D
<Some folks requested taxxons, so I humbly offer: my interpretation of the Big Woims
They're gonna get a more exploratory species sheet like a couple of other Animorphs-Aliens, but I really need to get a better handle on them because I have a hard time knowing how they look in a 3d space. That said? Love me a Taxxon.
I've got some exploratory Ketran stuff drawn already, and I'm trying to stylize Hork-Bajir. If there's any lesser known aliens yall wanna see, pop me an ask! 💖>
been rereading the andalite chronicles.. what a trilogy
Book accurate morphing #10: Elfangor —> Taxxon
catastrophic level hyper-fixation flare up
it started with just the stypiling in the middle and i was like wait these don't look right from what i can remember so i found a refrence image for the taxxon that included the hork bjar and at that point i just kinda spiraled... many more sketches to come
i didn't mean for the ear one to come out that viscerally but that form of like alien control has always been super crazy to me just the thought of being passenger to a parasite in your mind man that creeped me out as a kid idk just the whole process of control was just so freaky
The Living Hive Project [WIP]
Well. It’s been two months now, and I still can’t seem to make any progress on the next chapter of Visser Two. It’s not like I don’t have the scenes in mind, it’s just… I don’t know, I’ve hit some kind of block when it comes to tackling Andalite society.
So, to clear my head a bit, I switched to another creative project I’ve wanted to try for a loooong time: illustrating certain scenes (in 3D, using Blender).
I’d already made a first attempt in 2D with Photoshop, and it wasn’t great. I have a bit of trouble with spatial representation, and honestly, working directly in 3D helps me a lot.
The problem, of course, is that I have to learn how to use the software first.
The scene I want to illustrate takes place in Chapter 3 of Visser Two: Erkis and Lena are carried off by rebel Taxxons and wake up at the foot of the Living Hive, where they come face to face with Arbron.
For now, I’ve only started modeling a Taxxon (which should become Arbron in the scene). Next step: the Hive, and then the cave.
Honestly, I have no idea how long this will take, or even if I’ll manage to see it through… But hey, at least I’ve already had a lot of fun working on this Taxxon :)
"SSSSSRRRRRRREEEERRRE?"
"No, Kresh not afraid. Kresh Controller once, too. See how easy Hork-Bajir defend against Taxxon plenty good. You not here for Hork-Bajir, you here for moss. Moss good."
"ESSSHESSSSSSSSSSIIER!"
"Moss. Mushed-rooms. Fong-us. Call whatever, it more eatable than Kresh for you."
