Jacob Black Masterlist
âGo, Jake. Itâs fine.â You spat as you gathered your belongings that were scarred about in his living room.
âY/N...â His voice broke off as he spoke.Â
Being best friends with Jacob you knew he would be overwhelmed with guilt. It was another fight about Bella. Lately, that was the topic of argument. Whenever she called, Jacob dropped everything for her.
âJake, you always go to her aid!â You spoke raising your voice.Â
âThatâs who I am! I care for my friends.â He argued.
You sighed, before turning to face him. âYes, Jake, I understand that.â You frowned. âBut thereâs a difference between caring for someone and being taken advantage of.âÂ
âSheâs not taking advantage of me, Y/N.âÂ
âOf course you think that!â You yelled, motioning to nothing in specific with your hands. â
âWhatâs that suppose to mean?â He spat taking a few steps towards you, suddenly towering above you.
Pointing your finger, you poked it into his chest. âYou know exactly what itâs supposed to mean. Youâre under her spell!â
Jacob growled.
You scoffed shaking your head. âI donât even know what Iâm having this argument with you. I donât know how much longer I can do this.â You felt tears forming in your eyes. Turning towards the door you began moving forward.
Jacob was quick to grab your wrist, preventing you from moving. âPlease.â
âPlease, what Jacob?â You questioned with a raised eyebrow. Tears beginning to fall from your eyes.
Silence fell between you. Neither one of you wanting to be the one to break it.
As the silence went on, you felt as if you could hear your heart shattering into a million pieces. Your whole life you had been friends with Jacob, at some point you had developed feelings for him that you never voiced.
âWhy...Why is she better than me?â You questioned your voice breaking at the end. Losing your composure, the tears began falling down your cheeks as your sobs echoed in the room.
âSheâs not! Y/N, sheâs not!â His voice breaking, quickly wrapping his arms around you pulling you into his chest. Resting his head on your hair, he held you as you cried.
âThen why do you always choose her over me?â You whispered.
âI...I...â
Pulling away from him, you wiped your tears as you took a breath. âI found my answer.âÂ
Rushing out of Jacob's house, you got into your car. Rolling the window down, you were about to mutter something to Jacob. Reaching through the window, he gripped your keys preventing you from starting your car.
âJacob...Please..âÂ
âBut I need you.â
Sighing you shook your head. âPick me. Choose me. Love me.â
âY/N-â
âPlease, Jake. Let me go.â
âBut Y/N-â
Tears began racing down your cheeks. âIâll never be as good as her, will I?â
Jacob frowned, tears begun threatening to fall.
Grabbing his forearm, you pushed it out of your car window, before putting the car in gear, turning the car around, you glanced at him through your rearview mirror.Â
Sobs began wracking through your body. Jacob had been the one constant in your life, he was more than your best friend, but neither of you wanted to cross that line.
Little did you know as Jacob fell to his knees he had imprinted on you.

Summary: Moving back to forks, the reader uncovers secrets about the town and the people living in it that she never knew.
Jacob Black Masterlist
Walking on the shore of La Push, you spotted your small group of friends. Smiling, you hurriedly made your way towards them.
âY/N!â Seth greeted full of excitement. Pulling you in for a bone-crushing hug, he lifted you off of the group before twirling around.Â
The air became filled with the sound o your squeals.
âPut the poor girl down,â Leah spoke rolling her eyes at her brother.
Placing you back on your feet, giggles fell from your lips. Turning your attention back towards the group, you greeted each of your friends, before standing beside Jacob, as he placed an arm over your shoulders.
âWhatâd I miss?â You questioned gazing at Sam, who held an unhappy expression.â
Shaking his head, Sam hadnât bothered to fill you in on what they were previously chatting about.Â
âLetâs go.â Sam spat, jerking his head in the direction of the forest behind him.
âBut-â
Before you could argue, Jacob sighed before he retreated without another word along with the rest of your friends.Â
Frowning, tears threatened to fall down your cheeks. Your mind became clouded with the thought of having done something wrong.
Shaking your head, you made your way back to the beat-up truck your dad had given you when you moved to Forks.
---
âI...I think heâs hiding something from me.â You frowned as you gazed out of the cafe window.
Angela sat across from you offering you a look of sympathy. âThereâs just somethingâs that are better to be left alone.â
You scoffed, crossing your arms on the table as you gazed around the small cafe. Your gaze fell upon a familiar pair of eyes. Locking eyes, you raised an eyebrow.
âIâll be right back.â You spoke standing up promptly, not waiting for her to respond.
Making your way towards the table, the feeling of uneasiness washed over you.
âFancy seeing you here. Mind if I sit?â You questioned motioning towards the unoccupied seat in front of him.
âHowâs Jacob?â He questioned in an annoyed voice.
Frowning, you dropped your gaze to the table in front of you. âHeâs good...I think. I...I havenât seen much of him lately.â
âThatâs a shame.â He spat taking a drink from his cup.
You rolled your eyes in response. Sighing, you shook your head. âI should go.â
âWait,â Edward spoke grasping your wrist preventing you from leaving. âWhy donât we do something.â
You scoffed. âI should get back to Angela.âÂ
âShe seems to be preoccupied at the moment.â He smirked jutting his chin out towards her.
Turning around, you gazed at Angela only to see Mike sitting in your previous seat.
âOh.â You muttered.
âWhy donât we have dinner?â He questioned moving to stand next to you.Â
âI-â
Not allowing you to respond, he tugged you behind him not letting go of your wrist as he lead you to his car.
âThis is kidnapping you know.â You spoke raising an eyebrow at him as he held the car door open for you.
âI donât see you putting up much of a fight.â He countered.
âShut up.â You spoke getting into the car.
Edward chuckled as he shut your door, knowing he won the argument.
As you were driving down the road, you and Edward shared laughs as well as terrible singing.
Slamming on the breaks, your seat belt-tightening as you leaned forward from the sudden movement. Gazing through the windshield, you were surprised to see Jacob standing in the middle of the road.Â
Unbuckling your seatbelt, you practically jumped out of the car. âJake?â
âWhat are you doing with him?â Jacob's voice dripping with venom as he moved in front of you.
âWeâre just hanging out...â You spoke gazing at him with confusion, âWait, why do you care? Youâve been MIA!â
âYou wouldnât understand.â Jacob brushed off your statement.Â
âTry me.â You spoke crossing your arms over your chest as you raised an eyebrow at him.
âY/N.â Edward's voice spoke from beside you.
âHow well do you even know him?â Jacob spat as he jutted his chin towards Edward.
âWhy does that matter?â
âBecause heâs a Vampire!âÂ
Gazing at him, your eyes were widened eyes.Â
âWhat?â Your voice was barely above a whisper. Turning towards the man standing beside you.Â
Edwardâs jaw clench and hesitation were enough of an answer for you.
âV-Vampires arenât....real.âÂ
âJacobâs a shape shifter. Thatâs why heâs been avoiding you, turns out you donât know him as well as you think you do.â
Your eyes snapped up to the man standing in front of you. "Jake?â You questioned feeling your body tremble as you gazed at him in disbelief. The pained look on his face broke your heart.
âY/N...Let me explain.â He pleaded.
âTake me home.â You spoke.
Getting into Edward's car, you stared intently at the dashboard as you attempted to hold it together.
Summary: Returning back to Forks for the holidays, the reader reconnects with her childhood best friend, Jacob.
Jacob Black Masterlist
"Y/N, we're so glad you could join us!" Your aunt exclaimed, pulling you in for a hug. Quickly, she ushered you towards the room you would be staying in. "Make yourself at home! Dinner will be ready in half an hour."
Nodding your head, you placed your suitcase on the bed as you unzipped it and began putting away your belongings. You had decided that you would stay until you wanted to return home, both your aunt and uncle were ecstatic to have you staying with them. They often see you as the daughter they never had.
Putting your items away, there was a knock on the door.
"Come in!" You called over your shoulder.
"Y/N?" A familiar voice questioned from the doorway. "I...I don't know if you remember me..."
Turning to face the person, you couldn't help the grin that made it's way to your lips. "Of course, I remember you, Jake!" You exclaimed rushing towards him. "How could I forget my childhood best friend?" Throwing your arms around his shoulders, you gently pulled him down to your level that allowed you to hug him.
Chuckling, Jacob wrapped his arms firmly around your waist, gently tugging you firmly against his body, as he buried his face in the crook of your shoulder.
"How've you been?" You questioned as you returned to your previous actions of putting your clothes away.
Jacob let out a heavy sigh before he moved beside you to hand you clothes. "It's....It's complicated."
You rolled your eyes. "What's not complicated?" You giggled.
"Well, there was a girl I had feelings for but she was in love with someone else."
"Oh, no." You spoke gazing at him, your expression filled with sorrow. "That is never easy."
"Yeah..." He breathed out, breaking your gaze and shaking his head.
"Guys, dinner's ready!" Your aunt called from the stairwell.
"Saved by the bell." You giggled, nudging his shoulder gently with his.
"You're telling me." He grinned.
---
"So you and Jake?" Your aunt questioned, as she made her way beside you.
Sighing, you shook your head. "We're just friends."
"Uh-huh." She spoke. "He doesn't look at you as just friends."
Your jaw fell slack as you snapped your head in her direction. "I...We..."
"You like him." She nudged your shoulder with hers. "I can tell."
You groaned, before placing the book in your hands back on the shelf. "It's....It's complicated."
"Much like he told you?"
"You heard that?" You questioned quirking an eyebrow upwards at her.
She shrugged nonchalantly as she grabbed a book to gaze at. "He likes you too."
"Yeah, well, I'm not sure about that." You huffed. "He was telling me about this love triangle he was in."
"He's not in it now."
"How do you know?"
Playfully she frowned before shrugging her shoulders once again. "A good journalist never reveals their resources."
"But you're not a journalist?" You furrowed your eyebrows together in confusion, before rolling your eyes with a shake of the head.
"Maybe you should give him a chance."
"If he liked me, maybe I would."
---
"Y/N, can you get the door?" Your aunt called from the kitchen.
Bounding down the stairs, you opened the door. Surprise etched itself along your features.
"Jake? What're you doing here?"
Jacob shifted from foot to foot, as he dropped his gaze to the ground before him. "I...uh... I was wondering if you'd like to go ice skating with me?"
Giggling, you crossed your arms along your chest, as you leaned against the door frame. "Of course, did you mean now or ...?"
"Uh, yes, now if you're available." He nodded furiously.
"Okay, let me get my purse-"
"No!" Jacob exclaimed taking you by surprise. "I mean, no, you won't be needing it."
"Are...Are you sure?" You felt heat dancing along your cheeks.
He hummed in response.
"Auntie -"
"Bye, have fun!" She quickly exclaimed tossing your jacket at you.
Gasping you caught your jacket mid-air. Putting it on, you gasped slightly as she placed her hands on your back and gently pushed you towards Jacob.
Placing his hands on your waist, he prevented you from losing your balance as he guided you onto the porch.
"Thanks." You muttered out.
"No problem." He spoke, clearing his throat. "Let's go, shall we?"
---
"There's something I haven't told you." You muttered out, as you laced your ice skates up.
"What is it?" He questioned as he moved to assist you.
"I...I'm not a very good ice skater." You muttered, feeling fireworks erupt in your stomach.
Jacob chuckled before gazing at you. "You really think that bothers me?"
You shrugged, feeling heat dance along your cheeks once again as you dropped your gaze to the ground.
Gently grasping your chin between his thumb and forefinger, he forced you to look at him. "Don't worry, I'll help you."
His close proximity, made your breathing becoming ragged, as you glanced at his lips, the thought of wondering how they would feel against yours, crossing your mind.
Taking a deep breath, you were the first to break the intimate moment. "Let's go."
Bolting up, you wobbled as you almost lost your balance, before even touching the ice. Jacob thinking quick on his feet, gripped your forearm gently as helped you steady yourself.
---
Taking a couple of laps around the ice rink, things seemed to be going well. Neither of you had fallen, the air was light as it was filled with laughter and jokes. Time seemingly flew by while you were with Jacob.
As you were caught up in the conversation with Jacob, you lost your balance causing you to almost fall onto the ice. Luckily, Jacob was quick to catch you before you collided with the ice.
"Don't worry," Jacob whispered in your ear, as his hands stayed planted on your waist, his chest brushing against yours. "I've got you."
Gazing at him, fireworks erupted in your stomach as you pulled away from Jacob slightly, dropping your gaze to his lips.
Before you knew what happened, you were on top of Jacob who was now laying flat against the ice.
Gazing down at Jacob, his expression was etched with surprise. Leaning down, you placed your lips on his. They felt as you had thought they would. With widened eyes, you pulled away from him, before you began apologizing rapidly.
"Jake-"
Cutting you off he laced his hand in your hair, before gently tugging you down towards him. Kissing you properly, he nipped at your bottom lip.
Pulling away, you rested your forehead against his, as you panted.
"We should get out of here."

Summary: The reader takes a camping trip with friends when an unexpected visitor shows up.
Jacob Black Masterlist
âWhoâs  idea was it to go camping again?â You questioned, throwing down the bags you had lugged from the car.Â
âStop your whining, youâre going to love it.â Your friend rolled their eyes as they decided on their area.
Scoffing you gazed at the area you had chosen while thinking of the uncomfortable nights that would be spent there.
âWhatever you say.â You spoke, breathing out a heavy sigh.
As the rest of your friends made their way to the designated camping area, people began moving about busying themselves. Someone had gone into the woods to gather firewood, while three of your other friends decided to venture to a small creek they had stumbled upon on their way up.
Sitting crisscross on the dirt, you let out a frustrated sigh as you gripped the tent directions. A groan fell from your lips as you laid back, gazing up at the treetops.Â
---
The crackling from the fire seemed to cause your eyelids to grow heavier and heavier.Â
âI think itâs time for me to hit the hay.â You muttered out.
Your friends nodded their heads in agreement, before deciding to do the same. Not much longer did the weather decide it was time for a change as well.
Tossing and turning, you finally settled for laying on your back. Letting out a huff of defeat, you threw your arms down to your sides as you stared hopelessly at the top of your tent.Â
The sound of pitter patters hitting your tent, filled your ears, as the temperature in the air quickly began to drop, more than it already had.
âY/N?â Jacobâs familiar voice rang through the campsite.
Sitting up, you whisper yelled. âJake?â
Jacob was quick to find your tent before undoing the zipper and entering your tent.Â
âWhat are you doing here?âÂ
âI was worried about my best girl.â He spoke, smirking.
You giggled before rolling your eyes. âHow did you know where I was?â
âOne of your friends said something about the camping trip before you left.â
You raised an eyebrow in question at him, before humming. âSure.â
âYou brought your own sleeping bag?â You chuckled, before unzipping your own bag. âI could really use your insane body heat right now.â
âAs you wish, mâlady.âÂ
âDonât call me that.â
As Jacob slid into your sleeping bag, you instantly felt your body heat up. Something you had been searching to do since your arrival.
Laying flat on his back, you were curled into his side allowing your head to rest on his chest. The sound of his heart beating along with his fingers tracing up and down your spine lulled you to sleep.
---
âWhereâs Y/N?â One of your friends questioned.
âI donât know...Did you check her tent?â
Both of your friends moved toward your tent, before peaking through a small opening in the zipper. Gasping slightly, they were surprised to see the scene of you and Jacob cuddling before them.
âLet them sleep.â
Nodding their heads, they quietly zipped the tent.

"Do you have to go?" Jacob pouted as he rolled on his side, mirroring your position.
A soft giggle left your lips. "You know I have to." You placed a hand on his cheek, allowing him to lean into your touch while closing his eyes.
"The perks of dating a Teacher, I guess." He teased playfully, sticking his bottom lip out as he continued to pout.
"That's right." You couldn't stop the toothy grin that made it's way to your lips. "I'll see you tomorrow, anyway."
Getting up from the bed, you barely made it to the edge before Jacob wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you back into his chest.
His fingers dance along the tender skin of your ribs, as the melody of your laughter filled the air. Tears quickly racing down your cheeks.
"J-Jake!"
"Say it, and I'll stop." He teased, placing a quick kiss on your cheek as he continued tickling you.
"I love you!"
"I love you too." He chuckled, stopping his moments, before loosening his grip around you. "I'll see you tomorrow."
Nodding your head, you were quick to put your jacket on. "Yep, don't forget, you have to come up to the school for lunch."
"I won't." He spoke grinning at you, as he swiftly stood before you. Placing his hands on your jaw, he rested his forehead against yours, closing his eyes. The sound of your heart beating, keeping him calm.
Placing a chaste kiss to your lips, he pulled you in for a tight hug.
---
Arriving at school, you gripped the strap of your bag, as you ventured through the hallways.
"Goodmorning, Miss Y/L/N." One of your co-workers greeted you.
"Goodmorning, Mr. Johnson."
Making it to your classroom, you began pulling out your teaching plan for the day, along with the other necessities you would be needing for the day.
You had arrived early enough, that you were able to begin getting the classroom ready for the day, before placing a sweet treat on each spot where your students sat.
It wasn't long after before your kids began filing into the room. Many of them greeting you with warm smiles once they saw you.
"Goodmorning, Miss Y/L/N!"
"Goodmorning class!" You stood in the front of the room, gazing around at each of your students offering them a warm smile. "Who's ready to start learning?"
"Me!"
Grinning, your students were more enthusiastic than any other day before. The warm feeling of happiness washed over you.
"Let's dive into the learning plan, shall we?" You questioned moving towards the blackboard. Gripping your teaching plan, you began writing in chalk as you heard the soft chitter-chatter of your students behind you.
"Who can tell me....."
---
"Hi, I'm here to see Miss Y/L/N," Jacob spoke, as he entered the school front office.
The secretary nodded before handing him a visitor's pass, allowing him entry to the school. Moving towards one of the securely locked doors, he heard the sound of buzzing signaling it was okay for him to enter.
He had been to the school so many times, he knew the front office staff by their first name, as well as knowing the way to your classroom.
As he walked through the halls, he held onto the plastic bag that was containing your lunch.
Finally reaching your classroom, the door was open. The sound of children's giggles and laughter rang through the air. Standing in the doorway, he was surprised to see the scene before him.
You were sitting on the floor, allowing a student to braid your hair, while another was "painting" your nails with a marker.
He heard you complimenting them, telling them how good of a job they were doing. Leaning against the door frame, he couldn't stop the grin that made it's way to his lips.
"Well, now I know your secret, Miss Y/L/N." Jacob smiled when he saw your head snap in his direction, while you were holding the expression of a deer caught in headlights.
"I...I don't know what you're talking about." You smirked.
Jacob, placed the bag of food on your desk, before taking a seat on the ground beside you. Before he could respond, the child that was coloring your nails beat him to the punch.
"Can I paint your nails?" They asked innocently, batting their eyelashes as they looked at him with doe eyes.
Jacob looked at you, then back at the child before taking you by surprise with a nod.
"Yay!" The child exclaimed full of excitement. Deciding they were done "painting" your nails, leaving one hand unfinished, they moved to Jacob.
Before you knew it, you and Jacob were surrounded by more of your students wanting to do a makeover on each of you.
"Can we miss Y/L/N?"
"I...I, uh..."
The lunch bell rang, saving both you and Jacob from more makeovers. You both let out a sigh of relief, before gazing at each other.
"I wanted to spend lunch with you." He spoke as if reading your mind.
