As upsetting as it was to see them break up, I understand it / it was done in a very realistic way- Yuwen isn't "bad" or "evil" for being super insecure (Especially since him and Taylor are both kids / middle schoolers-), but I also think he was his own downfall when it came to Taylor. She didn't do anything wrong or malicious in my eyes (When it came to their relationship-), and I felt for Taylor a lot towards the end of Episode 6,, 😭

ok so hear me out guys

this is yuwens mum and throughout his episode his dad is not seen so i assumed that he was not in the picture, either hes dead or (for the sake of this post) he walked out on yuwen and his mum

when they first get together, yuwen and taylor are shown as a cute little couple moving in together and starting a life but then they start fighting and i think that especially the kitchen scene ties in to what i said up there

i think that the shouting and crying and especially smashing the teapot (and everything that follows) is yuwen replaying the final argument between his parents and comparing his and taylors situation to that

they sleep in separate beds and he begs her to take him back but he cant undo what hes done

here he plays the role of his mother, begging taylor (in the role of his father) to change her mind but she packs her things and goes, leaving him alone with a broken heart and his regrets
