Five Disney pairings I adore so much and a few of their respective scenes that include hugs and kisses.
This is the youngest ship I ever ship. Before I ship them, my youngest ship is Benmina. They seem to be healthy ship. Amanda is perfectionist (too perfect). But Milo can help her coming out from her comfort zone. He proves that he doesn’t have to be perfect to be happy or successful. He forces the problem he meets. Not to run away from it. He also shows her the mistakes are everywhere, but it can be solved and enjoyable 👍🏻 And Amada, she can teach Milo to be responsible and disciplined. She can also help him to prepare for every unexpected situation or back up plans 😊
And they’re the first main ship I ever ship. Before I ship them, I ship a few canon couples, but I never ship main couple. I hope this ship is main ship because Milo is main character, but Amanda isn’t. So I’m not sure if the ship likes this can be called main ship or not 😣
So... next gens?:
Bio’s under cut!:
You think they didn’t have Milo and Melissa be a couple is because it’ll be phinbella all over again
Interesting question, mayodayo. One of the rules of fiction writing is that when you're coming up with characters, you think in terms of opposites. So I think the main reason why they went with Amanda x Milo is because they wanted someone who was the living embodiment of order to fall for someone who was the living embodiment of chaos. And one thing Dan and Swampy don't really seem to like in their shows is cliche sitcom/ romantic rival drama.
But yes, the fact that Melissa x Milo would have been interpreted as Phineas x Isabella 2.0 probably also has something to do with it.
Just a quick piece I did.

Ship rating meme: Milo/Amanda in MML
D. At the moment I guess I just don’t feel anything that remarkable in terms of potential romantic chemistry between them besides “opposites attract”, and I’ve had mixed feelings on some aspects. On a more generous day I’d lean towards a C more, but my default would be D for this and the fact that I felt like Smooth Opera-tor wasn’t the best written episode. Amanda in general I’ve had conflicting feelings on, namely because her need for order reminds me of my own OCD way too much, and the way that a simple unplanned performance from Milo somehow made her feel all better screams bullshit to me (no magic power of friendship or love is enough to get you out of such a huge anxiety attack, believe me).
On the other hand, Amanda being judged by everyone is really contrasted with Milo actually liking her for who she is, which is pretty sweet, not to mention Amanda realising Milo is indeed trying to help as much as he can. School Dance handled them much better, I feel.
However, even if I’m conflicted on them, I will say this: it gets an honourary A+ for the best ship name, Armadillo.
