I'm worried that Tech's going to die in season 2 of TBB. But I'm also worried that they could use his death as an excuse to bring Echo more into the fold.
One of the issues with Tech and Echo is that their roles within The Batch are both quite similar and because of this they can overshadow each other a bit. I think this is part of the reason why neither seem to stand out a whole lot in the show.
Now, while I'm not saying I definitely think Tech is going to die, or that Echo is going to take his place, I'm slightly worried that they could solve the whole overshadowing issue by removing one of them from the picture (probably Tech). Without Tech, Echo could move into a more prominent spot because he wouldn't have a shared role within the group.
But I would hate it if this happened. I don't want the whole "Echo doesn't do anything" problem to be solved by getting rid of Tech. I hate to say it, but if they can't make it work with all of them, then they shouldn't have had Echo join The Batch.
I don't think that this is going to happen and I'm not saying that this is a likely route that they'll take, but if they do, I'm going to be disappointed.
I really hope to see every member of The Bad Batch getting the focus they deserve this season.
