i think anakin should fall in canon as much as hayden does in the prequel bloopers. yeah he's an incredibly well trained jedi master. yes he has two left feet. these are not mutually exclusive.

ive never been happier with an episode. wrecker’s got his chip out, rex saves the day, we get echo talking about his twin with rex, we get omega and wrecker interactions and a good chance of action in the next episode.

hoo boy do I regret searching the dinluke tag this night but even so... like every ship with a person of color, there are going to be ignorant writers who further racialized and stereotypical ideas in their work. more likely than not they will refuse to listen to you. all fandoms are the same. all ships. there's always assholes who, when you actually make the effort to be civil and try to inform, will simply ignore you. but--in no way should we ever stop trying to make fan fiction a more comfortable space for poc, who should be able to find comfort in ships including poc in the same way that others do.

but unfortunately we see this same discussion (it is not discourse, this is a serious damn issue) across the board of fandom, sw or otherwise. i want to make an apology on behalf of the fuckers who do not listen and will not change: im sorry that your experience is soiled by racist under and overtones in fanfiction. im sorry that you have to be reminded of it when checking the tag(s). im sorry.

and if any writer sees this post, dinluke nation or otherwise, please read your narratives and characterization including poc carefully and listen to your audience. im tired of this continuous discussion and it and the content of some works are incredibly harrowing to see for poc. "dont like dont read" does not apply here, since there are no warning tags for "im advancing racism and decline to change". please please please help us improve our fan fiction community for ALL audiences.

one thing i hope we learn more about is what happened to bo katan

like in clone wars shes a jerk. then in rebels shes less of one, but then in mando (especially the last episode) shes back at clone wars bo

so i just wanna know what happened. i know she lost the darksaber but was that enough to undo the growth she seemed to have?? idk

also i wanna know how she lost it and why exactly she won’t accept from din

my current theory is she just didn’t gain enough support because she didn’t actually win it in combat, so the empire was able to decimate mandalore cause they weren’t united enough

ALSO i want them to get into if she feels any regret about all her past actions and how much. for me in rebels it seemed like she felt some at least but idk

anyway bo is a complex character and i just wanna know more about what happened

i love uncanny anakin skywalker. i love when his eyes pin people to the spot because something about him just sings that he's not one of them. I love in clone wars fics where the clones are like "whoa, our jedi is freaky as fuck" and love him anyway. yeah, this is their jedi. he scares eldritch horrors <3 his sword is cool <3

AGH ok rebels au, post twilight of the apprentice where ahsoka doesn't die (or any of the world between worlds stuff happens) and she wakes up under the collapsed temple to some awful wheezing noise. vader, with his cracked helmet, scored open even more by falling rocks, is dying. Anakin is dying. maybe he's suffocating, maybe he's bleeding out under all the awful black and bleeping lights but it doesn't matter because the force is throbbing around him and he's dying and it's like the force is trying to drag ahsoka with him. she goes over, probably tries to help but it's pointless. the yellow's draining from his eyes as he gets closer to the end, and he clasps her hand. he croaks something illegible, makes eye contact with her, watery blue meeting watery blue, and then he's gone. ahsoka takes his lightsaber and helmet with her. the rest, she leaves to malachor.

some time later, after ahsoka has met back up with the spectres and the other rebels, reports of random shit floating, things going missing, and people seeing shadows out of the corners of their eyes are becoming increasingly common. some (ezra and zeb) think it's a ghost. others are insistent it's just paranoia - afterall, since the death of vader, the empire is cracking down on rebel cells.

then, ezra has a visceral dream. he's clashing with kanan on a planet made of lava, he makes a mistake, and he's burning burning burning please master help mE--

when ezra wakes up, it's to a floating figure that looks weirdly like the guy from ahsoka's holocron watching him with serious fascination. and he's floating five feet off the floor.

basically anakin dies on malachor and somehow force-bonds to ahsoka so as a force ghost he's a particularly cantankerous poltergeist and is making it the rebels' problem day after day

lowkey guys I might just delete my account. Genuinely, I just haven’t had any interest in drawing noms, writing noms, etc. I have no idea why it just left me but now I just don’t really want to draw anything with it anymore. Has the Devil may cry obsession taken over so deeply that it’s smothered other interests? Probably 😭. It just makes me feel bad to know that I have this up and I have no interest in it. It’s not that I’ve lost passion for everything (evidenced by my 30+ drawings of Devil May cry I’ve done in the past two weeks alone), it’s mainly just this. Just some thoughts I’ve had recently
