My heart broke for Crosshair when his hands were shaking with the blaster because you just know that affects his aim. Being a marksman is a huge part of him and he must now feel that's gone too and I just know we're going to see that shaking again when he has his rifle back 🥺

Before all the hell breaks loose, I want to leave this clear: If the writers dare to antagonize Crosshair once again, they better let him live because if they just go with a half-ass explanation about why he is the bad guy, like, "He has always been like this, severe and unyielding; he is selfish; he is just bad," and then try to "redeem him" for the umpteenth time in the series or try to make him prove himself to any character (when he doesn't even need that, like if all the suffering, horrors, and trauma he has been through weren't enough), and then kill him, I am going to lose it.

I don't want to be that person, but I can feel it in my bones that they're going to try that card once again with him, and I know deep in my heart that everything is connected with the CX clone project and the CX-2 clone. Because why would the writers choose to avoid any reasonable and healthy path where If the other characters (Hunter, Wrecker, and Echo) had put the cards on the table and they really had explicitly talked about what happened to Crosshair in his time in the Empire and Tantiss, anything that is happening right now wouldn't be happening, like Crosshair would've actually healed emotionally and physically. They would have found Tantiss without Omega sacrificing herself for the greater good and having already saved all the clones and children there. Crosshair would have talked with them about what the CX project is all about. And this is why I think they're going to play the card of Crosshair being the antagonist again—not in a "good soldiers follow orders" way this time, but in a "you knew all this time and you didn't tell us, you betrayed our trust" way. As many have pointed out before, the CX-2 clone is Tech, and Crosshair knows it. That's why he was so avoidant about returning to Tantiss, and that's why he is so scared about returning because if they could turn Tech into that, he wouldn't ever want to risk the rest of his family to the same fate or know the heartbreaking truth behind CX2.

MAJOR TBB SEASON 3 EP 11 SPOILERS

So we don't know how TBB are going to get Omega back but in these photos here:

Well, Hunter went emo, but other than that in the last photo on the right we can kinda see a mountain like Tantiss. Obviously, they're not in the Maurader because it blew up so that checks out and they're using the same tactic they've been using since season 1, leech onto a bigger ship to get onto the planet.

It's probably not Tantiss since they do fake-outs all the time, but it will be interesting to see why Hunter lost his paint.

If I had a nickel for each character I hope gets eaten by a large creature in the Bad Batch season 3 finale, I'd have two nickels. Which is a pretty normal amount and will be a great bonus for watching Rampart and Hemlock get chomped

If I had to guess, these are Jedi captured after Order 66 being used as guinea pigs, hence all of the security, or Palpatine clones in development? Related to the 'tomb' from Kenobi maybe? Were those Jedi used in Hemlock's experiments? 🤔 Clones would not have an M count to begin with, but Jedi did, so maybe Hemlock's trying to get their conscious into a clone body without the M count diminishing? I hope we find out and it's not just a Pulp Fiction briefcase light mystery. Lol...

Star Wars: The Bad Batch

Episode 9: The Harbinger

I have something to say about Mount Tantiss.

When the episode first showed the shot of rainy Pabu, I did not even recognise it as Pabu for a fraction of a moment. I thought we had scene changed for a split second.

I could go in depth about the way the lighting and weather is reflecting our characters but I am not as articulate as some of you, and I know many will be talking about this (which is fantastic and I can't wait to see what you think). Just know that the lighting and shadows on characters is reflecting their headspace, and weather also brings atmospheric examples of the turmoil the characters are facing.

What I'm stuck on currently is how Pabu has parallels/shares similarities to Mt Tantiss.

On top of the visual comparison, to Crosshair and Omega, Pabu probably also feels like prison to a degree.

Omega had freedom to move around the same way she could on Tantiss, but doesn't have the freedom to actually go anywhere/do anything.

Omega feels that she left her brothers behind and that she could have done more. She is now on Pabu and feels she cannot do anything to help yet as she doesn't have answers and her brothers are protecting her.

Crosshair has more freedom than he did on Tantiss but as he is sticking with his brothers, he also cannot leave.

The others, to a degree, are also probably still watching him for signs of betrayal (betrayal is a strong word, deviance is probably better)

Even if they had a plan to help, they are essentially still 'trapped' here until they figure out what is happening with Megs and how to keep her safe.

Mt Tantiss to a degree has the same 'stuck on an island' feeling because the environment and wildlife outside of the main area you see the characters is dangerous. This keeps them in the one place, the same as being surrounded by ocean keeps you on the land.

I think the visual parallel is helping to remind us that while our characters are safe right at this moment, the Harbinger has only brought more uncertainty and insecurity.

My thoughts are all over the place right now so this may not make sense. I'm still processing the latest episode. But absolutely let me know what y'all think about this and if you can articulate your thoughts better.

And feel free to tell me all of your thoughts about everything.

TBB S3 - Why Wrecker Will Die (Ep 8-12 Spoilers)

Ok, I’ve seen all kinds of posts predicting who in the Batch is gonna end up dying by the end of S3, I’ve seen Hunter, Echo, and maybe even Omega.

But I’ve been thinking about it, and I just realized…

What if Wrecker dies?

Wrecker has gotten a lot of character development recently, from being the voice of reason for Hunter in Ep 2 to showing off his expertise in explosives in Ep 8. But there’s something else.

THINK ABOUT IT, PEOPLE.

HE’S ALWAYS GETTING HURT THIS SEASON.

Ep 8 (Bad Territory): Almost got STABBED when fighting Sylar. TWICE.

Ep 9 (The Harbinger): Force choked by Ventress

Ep 11 (Point of No Return): Was unconscious for the majority of the episode after narrowly escaping the Marauder when it exploded

Ep 12 (Juggernaut): Almost FELL OFF PHEE’S SHIP when escaping Erebus

WHY is he getting so much character development?

WHY is he getting so many close calls?

and WHYYYYY is this so similar to another dear brother's character arc who departed us?

TECH.

Tech had a LOT of character development in S2, and there were multiple moments when he slipped or stumbled, FORESHADOWING his deathly fall.

Y’ALL SAW THE WAY WRECKER SLIPPED WHEN JUMPING ONTO PHEE’S SHIP IN JUGGERNAUT, RIGHT??

RIGHT???
