So I’m really into TheNamelessDoll’s crossover turned animated series “To Belong”. sleepyowlsart and I got talking about who/what our little OC family would be, and I couldn’t help myself. I suck at editing, but I tried to use the methods I’ve seen nameless use. I tried to change as little as possible, so that someone could * in theory * edit the crossover version, but I had to make a version with something closer to canon colors.

I used Helga for the mom, Red, and Zira for her animal. Proteus and the grey horse are standing in for Fane, and Baby Dmitri/Kovu are standing in for their kid, Harlow.

I got bored so I made a fake screencap of mine and SleepyOwl’s fan characters from “To Belong”. Everyone gets in trouble with the police eventually, especially when your kid is a little thief and your wife is a former outlaw. Kestler is the head of the local police force, and chased little baby Harlow all the way into the woods where his mother, Red, and his father, Fane were lumberjacking. Momma is ready to throw down and dads just trying to stay out of the way. I think a quote from TLK2 works here pretty well...

“You know the penalty for returning to our borders!”

“But the child does not!” 

Except Red is actually a good parent and doesn’t gamble with his life like Zira does.

Top image is with crossover colours, so that everyone is mostly from their movies respective colour pallettes, bottom is closer to their canon counterpart colours. 

Background is from Bambi, Characters are from The Lion King, The Lion King 2, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
