“Why?” Jon was careful when he spoke, managing to keep his tone simply curious, not wanting to offend her, merely seeking an answer as to why she sought to kiss him. He did not know what he thought about it either way, it had never been something he had considered, and until she clarified things for him, he did not intend to allow his mind to wander in the wrong direction.

Sansa wrinkled her nose at him. “Theon said if I kiss you you’ll turn into a prince,” she answered. She was beginning to think that her father’s ward had, again, told her a tall tale. This was becoming increasingly common, and she was sick of looking like an idiot to everyone, but she wasn’t about to admit to Jon that she was having misgivings.

“Ramsay.” She spits the name in cold fury. If the evidence of her lord husband’s abuse doesn’t convince Jon to oust him from Winterfell (and gods willing, kill him), she doesn’t know what will.

The hug surprises her, it seems to have come out of nowhere. She returns it after an initial moment of confusion. When they break apart, she glaps her brother on the shoulder. “Are you alright, Jon?”
