i really dont know why i have to fuckin say this but once youre eighteen it doesnt make you automatically a responsible adult. no eighteen year is in any way prepared to take up a burden of being an adult. it doesnt matter that they're "legal" eighteen year olds are still just kids they really are even some nineteen year olds are still kids. not to mention those who never really had a childhood and are finally free to have fun and do kid stuff. i remember being 18 and having the best time of my life climbing trees and on swingsets and parks and playing because i never got to experience that before. im nineteen and im still not feeling in anyway ready to be an adult its so horrible to force the role of adulthood on older teens when theyre still very much children

even if they were raised to be self sufficient by that time, there's a difference between living with your guardians and that safety net or something along the lines and then being alone in the world sometimes you just want that safety net especially new adults who often times are still in high school

just let eighteen year olds be kids

#tbhpost back to 2016, we headed to the north to hit some big lines in Skagway, AK, but the area was too warm already. We had to make an alternate plan, so we searched the internet and came up with a few images of skiing in Tombstone by @reubenkrabbe and @tobinseagel . Those images really got our attention and made us to drive 500km to the north from Whitehorse.
