Summary:
Tommy learns firsthand after his crash that traumatic brain injuries can cause neurogenic stuttering. He knows he should be telling the world how grateful he is to have survived a helicopter crash with just his stutter as his only lingering condition, no matter how long it takes for him to get the sentence out. Tell that to the gurgling pit of shame that stops Tommy from even trying to speak, though.
When Tommy's speech therapist mentions practicing more outside of their sessions, Tommy figures the only way to get someone to want to listen to him speak is to hire them. An escort's a perfect solution to his problem, really. It's a bit of a problem that Evan's so hot he has Tommy tongue-tied in a whole new way. He should just ignore all that, though; Tommy didn't hire Evan for sex, so they won't be fucking.
