Tell me More about these guys You and Gunny are making 👀 I like their domestic life so far with a crank apartment a.i.
Dog bless you.
Gunny is the reason Graham and Kingfisher even have names and have developed beyond Tenant and House.
Aiden is his oc with a lot going on. Aiden's freshly injured and genre hopping over into Kingfisher and Graham's story which is like more slice of life, compared to Aiden's.....misadventures.
Anyways they're genre crossed neighbors and Aiden is the feral cat Graham feeds and tries to reintroduce into society while Aiden looks at him like he's got two heads.
I don't want to spoil anything or talk about a guy who's not mine but he does move in and gut all the sensory tech from the apartment.
Kingfisher is not happy about that. It's an AI running an assisted living facility apartment complex full of families and older folks with attachments to the nearby hospital. It was once a Roland expy but has morphed a little into a black box kinnie so I have to beat it with sticks to not threaten the guy who is a threat to its tenants.
It has a lot of older analog stuff because I like that. Corded phones for goofs despite the time frame being nebulously in the future. It has a panel and a camera in the apartment entryways and kitchen areas but not anywhere else.
It's a fun space to play in and also just indulge in the small moments like food making and domesticity.
I like your product. Also, thank you so much for the potluck This is so fucking awesome
Thank you! I'm having a blast and I love that it's been a motivator for people to bring back cool stuff and show off new stuff. We're all so busy and stressed and tired that I wanted as low stress an event as possible. I'm amazed that people latched onto it and I'm so so happy!

I feel like Linda is the one on blueteam with a bit of an actual gun fetish. Most Spartans are very familiar with firearms as a rule due to their training. Probably even more so than marines or the army. They were created with the intention of being as battlefield-savvy as possible and so most spartans generally have the ability to take apart and put back together almost any firearm they find. Barring maybe covenant weapons for the most part.
But for Linda? It's about the process, the history of each one. The engineering of weapons and how they fill a niche in time and places. What roles they fill. How the science of kinetics and physics represent themselves in every round.
The purpose of any weapon generally has one destination: the end of a life.
But for gun nuts like Linda it's more about the details of the journey and how one chooses to travel that road.
You know? I think I agree. The use of "I think Linda has a gun fetish" body'd me for several hours, but I'm warming up to it. I think you're right.
Look, she didn't HAVE to make the Nornfang. She didn't have to rob an armory blind and take their most prized, most advanced rifle, and continue perfecting it until even divine beings couldn't look away. I'd wager that even Kelly has the same level of reverence, considering her shotgun.
I think they feed into each other a bit, for it.
I think she'd also get excited about when weapons are used in unusual ways, or modified strangely. She'd probably like making DIY guns and have a passing interest in bootleg/illegal/homemade firearms. There's a word I'm looking for there. Can't think of it.
500 years of technological development, particularly weapons and military, and Linda is intimately familiar with all of it. I think she's able to listen to a gun and tell you exactly how it's functioning or what's wrong with it.
Linda probably gets a lot of joy from picking apart and improving on her arsenal. It probably extends to her trying to get Fred and others to listen to her advice, or even personalize their guns like she and Kelly.
What bionicle might one use to marry you with then? 👀
currently, cahdok and gahdok
*whispers* (gimme them thel headcannons) *drawing hands shake*
#1. thel looks over his shoulder and gives the sangheili equivalent of him looking excited and opening his mouth as if to start singing right as Will Smith starts The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
#2. honestly thel in some bad bass black hood armor???????? like how @relay314 draws some of their turians in
#3. thel has BIG GUN SLUNG OVER HIS SHOULDER (that’s mass effect gun but it reminds me of pre-schism based weapons)
#4. all i can think about is how sangheili were supposed to have tails but they got rid of it and i’m almost glad bc all i can imagine is big sangheili just doing that weird bob/push up things that lizards do
Suish? Quissh? Sqqwish? SPLORK?
