STORY:
Link Falintere inherited guardianship of a fortress around when the war against Demise was becoming everyone’s problem. He was a formidable warrior but had little ability to do more than maintain morale. A betrayal in his late twenties resulted in his imprisonment and torture, which left him with untreated injuries from which he never fully recovered. Several years later, the Sword of Hylia (and, with him, the Goddess herself) returned and insisted on his release, but there was very little time left before the fortress was overrun.
Falintere is an unflinchingly moral person. He strives to be pleasant to everyone, and is firm enough in his beliefs to ensure the safety of even the people who have most wronged him. He wields his rage as just another tool at his disposal and never lets it control him. He is passionately loyal to those he cares for and can be playful around those he trusts.
Falintere speaks easily enough, but prefers quiet when he can afford it. He knows sign language, but uses it rarely after his injury due to pain. He is literate, but cannot write well anymore for the same reasons.
Falintere is very interested in sex, and happy with most options for partners although he is inclined towards a single partner over multiple. He was involved with The Sword, and was certainly aware of Hylia’s interest in him although undecided on what to do about that and also not sure if she understood what sex was. He did not at any point attempt to find out.

A version of the First Hero, only loosely based off the Zelda comic about him. Friend's challenged me to use my markers again, which worked out pretty decent given I mostly have sharpies. Other details in pencil.
