Cypress Twill || Interview
Caesar: Next up to the stage we have the second half of Panem's favourite set of twins. Please give a warm welcome to Cypress Twill!
Cypress: *Grinning from ear to ear as he waves to the crowd.* Thank you so much Caesar for the warm welcome. Nobody quite embodies the amazing hospitality of the Capitol quite like you.
Caesar: Not only is he a quite the looker ladies but a charmer too! And in that brilliant suit?! Ah I always love the clothing the tributes from Eight wear! So bold, so risky.
Cypress: You know, I never really thought red was my colour until now. *crowd chuckles with him and Caesar*
Caesar: You wear it almost as well as I do my boy. District Eight seems to be all about being bold and risky this year. Those parade costumes and the little show you two put on? Although that's only half as impressive as you and your sister volunteering to take on the games together. Tell us a little more about that.
Cypress: What's there to say? Dani and I grew up serving our district with smiles and an escape from factory life. We're strong and capable and what better way to serve our district than to volunteer and bring Eight home a victor?
Caesar: Such nobility! It really reminds us of why we have the games in the first place. Though surely both of you have realized only one of you can go home correct?
Cypress: We have thought about that Caesar.
Caesar: And?
Cypress: So much can happen so quickly in the arena that really it's hard to preplan exactly what we want to have happen. As confident as we are about our skills there's a lot of talent amongst the tributes this year.
Caesar: Too true, and good of you to realize that. Humour us all for a moment. It's between you and Dani in the final two. How do you decide which one of you gets to live?
Cypress: Well Caesar, I guess whichever one gives Panem the best show.
Caesar: Spoken like a true performer. We're just about out of time, is there anything else you'd like to say?
Cypress: Letia, thank you for all your support and for raising us as well as anyone could we weren't always easy and I know you don't understand our decision but that's okay. We were born to perform and what are the games but Panem's largest stage. After all, the show must go on.
Caesar: There you have it folks, Cypress Twill of the amazing Twill Twins! *Cypress stands to leave as the crowd erupts into cheers*
☓ INTERVIEW ☓
Caesar: Ladies and gentlemen, please help me in introducing our next tribute of the evening: Judas D'Souza of District Six!
Judas: *silently enters and sits down*
Caesar: So, Judas, tell us... how are you enjoying your stay in the Capitol so far? Is it everything you thought it would be? Perhaps it was more than you thought it would be, or maybe it was less?
Judas: *silence*
Caesar: *turns to the crowd and laughs* Looks like we got a silent and deadly type here, folks! *audience laughs along with Caesar*
Judas: *silence*
Caesar: Speaking of deadly, I'm sure you were absolutely delighted when you saw that you had made a 12 in private training! I mean, I know I was absolutely floored! Did you expect to make the highest score of the year?
Judas: *silence*
Caesar: Oh, come now, Judas! What's wrong? Cat got your tongue? *laughs along with the rest of the audience*
Judas: *turns and stares at Caesar*
Caesar: ...Was it something I said--
Judas: *slowly opens mouth, revealing absence of tongue and causing the fake blood that he had held in his mouth to slowly trickle out onto his suit*
Caesar: Oh my goodness gracious! Oh my! Oh me! Oh wow!
Audience: *gasps of shock*
Judas: *gets up and walks off stage
