Concept Dancing
I smiled as I finished up the last dish, setting it away and wiping my hands clean on my little apron skirt. As I dried my hands I went through the kitchen and Into the living room. Immediately I heard the joyful music playing on the TV and as I glanced at the TV I saw the various dancing instruments on a black background. I wasn't the biggest fan of it all but it has this strange Hypnotic ability that can be very helpful when you have jobs to do. So I expected to see our sweet little daughter Lavender sit with her teddy bear watching and perhaps doing a small dance as she often does. But I did not see this.
Instead, I saw Thomas sitting on the sofa coffee cup in hand shifting and slightly dancing to the music.
“Thomas? What are you doing?”
“Humm? Ohh watching the dancing videos with lavender”
“Okay. Where is lavender?” I asked as the floor and sofa were empty but him
“Oh. Uhhhh that's a good question” he says glancing around and noticing the absence of our daughter
“Lavender is in her playhouse isn’t she?” I asked
“Yes I think so”
“So you’ve been sat watching the dancing instruments, dancing to yourself, while our daughter is in her little house?”
“Yes”
“Alright, have fun Thomas” I laughed giving his head a kiss and heading back to the cupboard under the stairs where two little plant pots sat on either side of the small door and even a small rug just outside, I rang the small pink plastic doorbell hearing the little tune it plaid and soon enough the door opened revealing what was once just the storage under the stairs but she had turned it into her little house with a play kitchen, table and chairs, and all her little toys, fake vacuum, fake blender, tea set and such like.
“Hello Mummy” she smiled
“Hello lavender, come on lunchtime”
