Velvet & Veneer headcanons

Velvet

-She's dyslexic, but she will NOT tell anybody

-Believes that money buys happiness

-She used to play in girls basketball and volleyball

-For her 18th birthday, she threw an entire party that lasted until 2AM (Veneer got no sleep)

-Loves watching that TV shows of couples getting into drama

-She often spent more time with her mom than her dad

-Has that windex bottle & wheeze in between laugh

-Hair reaches down to her ankles, wants it to be longer

-Allows fans to have private meetings with her, only if they pay though😊 (*ahem* $500 dollars-)

-As a kid, she used to want to be a fashionista, until Veneer started to watch famous pop stars

-Used to go on those "girls only" websites that have the worst princess games

-Never found bathroom jokes funny, never will

-About 6'10, 4 inches taller than Veneer

-She's on a smoothie diet, though she has fast metabolism

-She won't eat in front of you, but if you have left overs, she will devour it all in secret

-She was a loner in elementary and middle school, only in highschool she started to make a couple friends

-She honestly isn't a horrible singer, she just strains her voice too hard and tries to sing too loud

-Would be better off as a soft voiced singer

-Enjoys Pop music and some Jazz, like Sade

-Doesn't pay taxes because she doesn't even know what they are

-Her memory is ON. POINT. Will not forget ANYTHING.

-She is gullible however, believes almost everything off of the internet

-Has been cancelled 3 separate times on insta and twitter

-Used to get called a drama queen back in middle school, gets defensive if called a drama queen now

-Took private dance lessons with Veneer

-She helps Veneer out with his makeup

-Hates tattoos and piercings, wants to keep her skin smooth and "perfect"

-You can smell her from 20 miles away because of the damn essence, and her using regular perfume afterwards

-Was and is spoiled rotten, throws a fit if she doesn't get what she wants

-Falls asleep right after her and Veneer's shows

-Likes cinnamon toast crunch, and fruitloops

Veneer

-He's a god damn femboy, I swear

-His parents never let him dress feminine, so as soon as he could, he did

-Was the one who started singing first, as well as dancing.

-Is very energetic, and gets side tracked easily

-He has a bit of a pudgy stomach, metabolism isn't as fast as Velvet's

-He has to shave often to keep his babyface and skin

-Played in boys volleyball, before switching to ballet

-Made friendship bracelets with Velvet, they both wear it if they're not on stage or on the red carpet

-He enjoys listening to pop and hip pop

-He got his licence permit, since Velvet's got taken away/she didn't do the test

-Shares the bedroom with Velvet, hogs up half of the blankets

-He is more sensitive, but he will beat anyone down if they try to hurt his sister

-Is the type to like edits of himself on tiktok

-You can tell your secrets to him, because he'll end up dozing off or forgetting❤

-He wants to have a mullet and mustache so bad, but Velvet will absolutely not let him

-Has that loud in and out laugh

-He used to be taller than Velvet, but she hit another growth spurt before him

-Without his 👨‍❤️‍💋‍👨 accent, he sounds tired as hell

-He sometimes dances in his free time

-Play fights with Velvet all the time, he wins like half of the time

-Loves watching mean girls, other shows like that

-He used to wear braces, got food stuck in them all the time

-He uses Velvet's perfume, though other times he buys a new axe bottle, only uses it once

-Uses Velvet as a human shield in any type of confrontation

-He didn't even know that he sings like a cowboy, until Velvet said he sings like a "gay western cowboy"

-Him and Velvet both have a gap in between their teeth, but his is way more bigger

-He wanted to be the lead singer. Velvet said that she should bc she's a girl so her voice is better than his

-He's more sarcastic than Velvet, if that's possible

-Often paints his nails to match Velvet's, besides red and yellow, he hates both of those colors

-He doesn't like to take too many risks

-Can play the guitar and keyboard, sometimes uses this advantage to play louder than Crimp's ukulele

-Huge pet guy, loves his pet monkey that he named Sparkles (wonder why)

anyway  some  headcanons under  the  cut  !!!

☆  leon  and  hop  were  raised  by  their  mother and  their  maternal grandparents  in  their  little  house  in  postwick !!  their  father left  the  picture many  years  ago  when  lee  was  still  rather  young  and  hop  only  a  baby  and  never  looked back

☆  that  being  said,  their  family  didn’t have  much  when  he  was  growing  up,  what  with  a  single mother  working  multiple jobs  to  make  ends  meet  and  his  grandparents  becoming unable  to  work  as  they  grew  older. even  in  his  early  adolescence leon  and  his  pokemon  partners worked  the  odd  part-time  job  or  two,  whatever  he  could  to  help

(  after  becoming  champion, leon  sent  all  of  his  prize  money  to  his  family  so  that  they  could  finally live  comfortably and without worrying where their next meal would come from.  even  to  this  day  the  majority  of  his  earnings and  free  “gifts” from  his  various ads  and  product endorsement  deals  go  straight  home  !!  he  loves  his  fambly  ...  ..  .  )

☆  he  actually didn’t  become  champion on  his  first  try  !!  during  his  very  first  gym  challenge he  lost  to  the  very  first  gym  leader.  miserably. to  the  point  where  he  began  to  question  whether or  not  battling was  right  for  him  at  all.  obviously he  was  able  to  rise  to  his  feet  again, and  ---  one  obligatory  sports movie  training  montage later  ---  was  able  to  make  his  comeback  and  claim  the  crown  the  following  year  !

(  very,  veryyy  few  people  know  this  story, not  even  hop  ---  he  wants  to  keep  the  magic  alive  of  being  the  UNBEATABLE CHAMPION  for  everyone who  looks  up  to  him  lol.  he  just  doesn’t want  to  let  anyone  down  !  )

Shiro tries to keep his temper in check as much as it can, and while it doesn’t take much for him to briefly snap at someone, it’s damn hard to get him to act out of anger. Threats to him about other Paladins won’t get a rise out of him; he trusts their individual abilities enough to know they can handle themselves.

Shiro had grown aggressive during captivity, and though it had been buried after escaping, it’s still very much there. He’s been able to acknowledge it since the blue lion was found, and tries not to let it show.

When the arena fights began and Shiro kept winning, it became a habit to stay in shape and in armor. It’s saved his life several times over and because of it, he’s developed a type of insomnia and hypervigilance.

Shiro isn’t fond of his prosthetic arm, and not just because it’s Galra tech. He can’t feel when someone touches that arm unless they pull hard enough to get him to shift, and he still has phantom pains there (which actually triggers a bit of dissociation because his arm is there but it’s fucking not and it’s always so weird when he can feel something). He’s not entirely used to fighting with only his hands, and every time he activates the tech, it almost feels like it’s humming. Part of him wishes he had something to at least make him close/mid range, but for now he makes it work.
