Nov. 4 (Favorite character)- My favorite character would have to be Telephone Guy. There's not a lot about him in the musical but there's so much said in the few instances he's onstage. At first, the audience thinks that he's just a weird guy who freaks out about anyone going near the phone booth and think his hope for his lover to call him is a lost cause. But in Answer Me, the song gives him more depth and shows that his hope isn't something laughable, but that it's something beautiful and longing that many can relate to.
