Covid has been hell on my goals this year, both mental and physical, but there are still a few accomplishments to check off, and I firmly believe we all should celebrate even the small achievements that we are proud of. This year, my second year as a runner, I had hoped to set all sorts of new PRs. Then Covid ... but I did run my fastest 5K and 5 mile races, and today I ran the virtual #tc1mile with @twincitiesinmotion, and knocked out my fastest mile ever. I’m not gonna call it an official PR since it wasn’t a chip-timed race (just me and my @garmin), but my time is making me confident that that elusive 6:00 mile isn’t out of reach. Oh, and I did all this in my new @saucony Kinvara’s, which were recommended by Wendi over at @gearwest. Digging the new shoes and excited to see what other PRs I can break in them. #cardiacarrestsurvivor #cancersurvivor #challengeyourself https://www.instagram.com/p/CEFQtCwHp-e/?igshid=1g8soa0e2oo8l
