yes, yes, alright. i wasnt going to answer any asks about the full name reveal, but since ive already recieved nearly half a dozen asks about it i suppose some of you just really Really want to know my opinion on it aheh.. very well
where to start.... well, first and foremost i suppose im rather disappointed that someone even felt the need to ask! having been in and around fan spaces long enough, ive found it fun to see peoples different headcanons and theories about various things, and this is one of them. things such as pyros gender and spys name and if blu team are clones, etc, are things that people have a lot of fun talking about and creating headcanons for! and unfortunately, some people get so caught up in needing an official answer so badly that they end up taking the fun and the power of imagination away from the community as a whole, and i find that to be a bit of a shame...
and, of course, you know that now there will be some people starting pointless arguments over it too. people seem awfully divided over it. at least, if you find yourself being someone that is unhappy about it, you can take solace in the fact that this was confirmed in an email seven whole years after the previous comic and not mentioned literally anywhere else in the canon itself nor in most community or fan works, so its pleasantly ignorable if you so choose.
as for my personal opinion of the name? i dont really care! its a fun reanimator reference, but beyond that its rather pointless, trivial, and ultimately changes nothing at all. im not quite sure what other reaction people were expecting heh.. so there is my answer, for those of you that were curious
