“Kalm Korn” (Spoilers)

So in “The Pilot”, Giggles says she has “a boyfriend. We love each other very much.” I always said this came off really defensive and more like she was trying to convince herself it was true. Plus we see no evidence she actually has a boyfriend.

In “TCKS” we also find she had a thing with Lucas that she clearly isn’t over and it shows very much so here in this episode.

While Mouse’s insecurities surrounding relationships and her sexuality are clear. Giggles’ isn’t so much.

We know sommat went down between her and Mouse. We know she had a relationship with Lucas. But we don’t know exactly what happened with either.

“TCKS” Part 2 (Big Shot Spoilers)

So Mouse really confuses me now. The girls are sitting around discussing their crushes, especially Emma who has just arrived at the school.

Mouse goes, “You’ve only just arrived here and you already have a boyfriend.” She then adds that she is yet to hook up with anyone.

In response one of the girls goes, “Like Harper.”

She responds defensively, “No.” But then asks, “How do you know that?” Effectively confirming her crush.

I suspected that she didn’t like being closely associated with Giggles cos she wasn’t prepared to acknowledge she is LGBT+, that she was in denial. But I feel she would have been more defensive about her crush on Harper if that were the case but she instead confirms her crush.

It does further make me question what went down between Mouse and Giggles? But also maybe Mouse was just concerned about how her friends would react to her being LGBT+. The fact they brought it up in general girl talk may have disarmed her. Caused her to know that she’d be accepted.

I am watching the newest episode of Big Shot for the second time and I just notice that when Emma is hanging out with the girls after school Carolyn's sweater almost looks like the Lesbian Pride colors.

Hmmmm, interesting.

What went down?

Hey everyone, So this is gonna be my first proper post since the Introduction on this blog. I got a few new followers here yesterday thanks to @marcodiazisatransgirl and I figured I would welcome you all with a theory I have alluded to in past posts.

So in the “Pilot” we get the impression something happened between Mouse and Giggles. Coach Korn asks them to spend time together before the game the next day suggesting going for a meal, taking a walk on the beach, etc and this causes Mouse to freak. When Coach Korn asks what the problem is, Giggles expresses that Mouse thinks “I like her a bit too much.” Giggles also gets defensive at this point saying that she has “a boyfriend. We love love each other very much.” More like she is trying to convince herself of this fact than the other people in the room.

Both characters seem to have hang ups about their sexualities and with Mouse especially this becomes more clear in “TCKS” and “This is our House”.

In “TCKS” when the team is being interviewed by Harper, Mouse is tripping over her words and visibly crushing on Harper in front of the entire team. Basically the disaster lesbian trope. When the girls are hanging out later on, the crush she has on Harper is brought up and once again she gets defensive before finally confirming with a question, “Wait! How did you know that?”

Despite this she is still super defensive about her crush though or the fact that she would EVER have a crush on a girl for that matter. In “This is our House”, Louise goes to Mouse referring to Harper who was at her locker moments earlier, “You and your girlfriend are stressing me out.” Mouse once again becomes defensive saying, “She’s not my girlfriend.”

We then also in this episode have Mouse refer to her parents as “the Colonels” and talking about getting into West Point Military Academy. This suggests her parents are military themselves, likely the US Marine Corps and they have aspirations for her to follow in their footsteps and join the military. While DADT (Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell) has since been repealed, maybe her parents still have old fashioned attitudes regarding military service and being LGBT+.

Circling back to the “Pilot” though we see Mouse’s extreme defensiveness around Giggles. Something happened between the two of them and Giggles even says, “Whatever you thought I meant that night, I didn’t. Besides YOU were the one who made it weird.”

The insinuation made here, is that Mouse freaked out about something Giggles said or did and what I wonder is, if what we are seeing happening between Harper and Mouse is gonna lead to a similar climax.

What I suspect is that Mouse was giving Giggles signals like she is doing with Harper right now. The two got closer and closer, until Giggles thought, “Hey, I feel this attraction to Mouse. She clearly feels the same way, let’s make a move.” What that move was we don’t know. Upon Giggles making that move though, Mouse freaked out and was like, “No. You may feel that way. But I don’t.” Although Mouse doesn’t seem to expressly deny her attraction to women, she just seems to freak when it ever comes up. Maybe she has the idea of, “Well I have this attraction, but it isn’t something I should act on. I just need to find the right guy.”

I think though, that Mouse and Giggles got super close to the point where Giggles made a move, and well after Mouse freaked and pushed Giggles away. And I wonder if the same is gonna happen between Mouse and Harper.

“TCKS” Part 1 (Big Shot Spoilers)

So I was spot on the money about Mouse. Mouse has her own closet to come out of. The basketball team is being interviewed by the school journalist, Harper and Mouse is freaking out about being interviewed by her cos, “She’s really smart and sophisticated.”

And yeah, when being interviewed by Harper what goes down is nothing short of Mouse going into a gay panic to the point the entire team is staring and two members of the team go, “She has a crush.” “Big time.” 😂

So this confirms something I suspected to be true. Mouse doesn’t like being close to Giggles because she believes Giggles likes her a little too much. I made the theory during episode 1 that the reason Mouse is uncomfortable around Giggles, is by being associated with someone who is potentially LGBT+ this will raise questions about her own sexuality which is so not straight.

My first theory regarding this show proven in 3 episodes. WOW!!!!
