Not sure which sentences I wrote last, so I’m simply going to give the first seven lines of the last fic I’ve published, in the light 🖤

Gweilge wasn’t fond of stealing.

Even after all these years, it still left him with a filthy, sticky feeling of shame which clung to his skin long after the act, like a layer of grime no amount of cleaning in a fresh, crystalline stream could wash away.

Yet if it was the price needed in exchange for non-humans living better lives, Gweilge thought, he was more than willing to pay up — no matter how rank the currency.

Crouching as he was in the shadows looming down the side of the imposing mansion that was his next target, he was thoroughly invisible but for the wisps of silver smoke blooming before his mouth in the cold night air.

Storeroom should be right down this way, he calculated, his gaze trained on the outline of a wooden doorframe jutting out from the semi-regular pattern of the stone wall. The moon was curled up under a thick cloudy blanket tonight, shrouding the entire courtyard behind the estate in darkness, but Gweilge had ample practise coaxing the secrets of the night into revealing themselves to him; after waiting long minutes with his back pressed against the wall, repressing the shivers tickling his spine, he began making out vague shapes amidst the gloom. As loath as he was to admit it (even and perhaps most to himself), his rather vast thieving experience had also taught him to closely inspect his surroundings before making any move — which meant he already knew the door he was looking for should be situated at six blocks’ distance and would likely be easy to open due to its outdated, brittle locking mechanism.

13. Do you have a favourite character to write for?

As much as I love writing for Reynard (it’s always so good to tap under all that reserve and restraint to see what’s going on below the surface), I think Gascon is my favourite to write for - his POV is just so playful and fun! Also he’s observant and notices a lot of things, which is a very handy trait when you're writing a story ;)

21. What’s a fact you haven’t shared about this oc?

I think I vaguely referenced him being tall in Blood is Thicker Than Wine, but to get specific: Henri is Very Tall and built like a tank - Gascon probably comes up to his shoulder, I think. And he thought Reynard sounded like a tambourine in his armour... *clank*

26. How does your oc handle anger?

Three things make Henri angry: insults to the Duchess, attacks on the defenceless/the innocent, and people he loves getting hurt. Henri handles this with immediate confrontation and a challenge to a duel ⚔️

28. What’s your favourite thing about this oc?

His kind heart ❤️ he’s the sweetest, most romantic soul, and always trying to give people the benefit of the doubt. But he’s not stupid, if you betray his faith in you...well, see the previous answer ⚔️

1. favourite place in your country?

There’s a really gorgeous little country town called Bright which is honestly one the most beautiful places I’ve ever been, I’ve been going for holidays there with my family ever since I was little and it’s so lovely every times of year. Also the bakery there makes the most delicious pastry and I inhale a million of them every time I go :))

16. which stereotype about your country you hate the most and which one you somewhat agree with?

Ah hmm it’s a bit annoying when people think we all live in the bush and ride kangaroos around when like 70% of us live in the big capital cities lol

The stereotypes that we swear a lot and are overly casual/informal all the time are mostly true, as is our habit of shortening every possible word (servo, arvo, deso, maccas, hospo...)

21. if you could send two things from your country into space, what would they be?

Timtams aka the best choccie biccies known to humankind and vegemite (marmite fans DNI 🙅🏼‍♀️🤢)

Easter Walk

- So basically I wasn't expecting that. The fact that they actually framed it is the best compliment I've ever received as an artist. And for now, this is my biggest achievement in drawing (even a lot of faves on DeviantArt can't beat that).
