her voice solemn ❝Oi, raven --- do you think if my powers continue to weaken I'll . . . disappear? every time the seal on Oz's chest moves, the power of B-rabbit in me starts to fade if it goes on ❞ . . . what'll become of me? she has no idea why she's chosen to tell him this if anything he'd probably --- no, he's not like that, he'll be more afraid of Oz's seal advancing than the dissipating power of B-rabbit, still Pandora promised that they'd come up with a way, so they must have one, right?
He's entirely caught off guard by the rather serious query, and as much as he tries not to he’s sure it shows on his face. She’s right in thinking his biggest concern is the advancement of Oz’s seal, and that she’s the reason he even has it in the first place, but...he can’t say he wants anything to happen to her, either. It’s not something he’s willing to put into words, of course, because that would be admitting that he cares about her, that as desperately as he wants to protect his master he realizes he’s not quite as sure he can do that if it means something happening to Alice, to his friend-
He lets out a quiet huff, brushing his hair back from his face as he turns to face away from her, almost embarrassed by the realization that he considered her a friend (he’s not even quite sure when it happened, or how, really).
“As if Oz would let that happen, I’m sure...” He trails off for a moment, letting out another puff of air from between his lips, hoping to at least reassure her a little bit (although he’s not really sure how to go about it, if he’s being honest), putting his hands on his hips as turning back to face her. “Look, I’m sure we’ll find some way to stop it from happening, okay? So don’t go worrying yourself over stupid things like that.”
