In the same world where technology and devices thrive, there is also magic. It’s humming beneath subway tracks or behind wooden doors. There are echoes of it everywhere and to see it, one just has to know where to look.

Izuku wanted more in life; he wanted the greatness of wielding magic and the joy of helping others with it. But his body had never been able to handle such things; “it’s just too strong for him,” a doctor told his mother when he was young. Resigned to work in his family’s apothecary shop, Izuku turned his focus to herbs and tinctures.

Shouto wanted to be someone other than himself. Son of famous pyromancer, Endeavor, the pressure to aspire to that greatness had been present ever since he was young. Born with a dual affinity for fire and ice magic, the odds have been stacked against him for what he really wants to be: a healer.

Their two worlds collide one musty afternoon in the Midoriya family’s apothecary shop.

This was my first ever bang and I had the absolute best time with the most welcoming group of fellow creators. Shout-out to the amazing mods over at @tododekubigbang for their hard work and for having way more patience than any of us deserved. I hope we get to work on future projects together!
