I don’t HATE him, I just hate how he was written. The writers used gamer speak wrong, and it threw off my immersion because he was so poorly written.

Plus I don’t like Samkota for the most part :/ usually depictions of people who love their partners even after they turn into horrible monsters mean a lot to me but it felt so weird after Dakota lost her intelligence and Sam seemed to be into it for the fantasy of dating a monster— he doesn’t see her as a person anymore which defeats what’s good about the “loving your partner after a monstrous transformation” bit and just sours it for me
