i don't even know how to explain jojos bizarre adventure 

it's a manga about the bizarre adventures of people named jojo, following the lineage of jonathan joestar

it starts out about some really buff dudes and dio is a douche in part one but he's a bisexual vampire who can stop time 

the story begins in like the 19th century

but basically nothing is taken seriously while at the same time its totally serious
