THE Taylor Swift Chai cookies she adapted from my blog years ago. A classic sugar cookie loaded with real chai spices and topped with a nut
So I used too much liquid while trying to make the glaze, so that's a bust.
But the cookies are great. It's my first time using oil to make cookies and I'm glad they turned out so well.
The recipe calls for the cookies to be rolled into 2 tablespoon portions; I used a cookie scooper, which is not 2 tbsp worth, and got 28 cookies out of 1 batch. They are also supposed to have a crisp exterior and slightly chewy interior but mine were crisp all the way thru, which might be because I flattened them with a greased, sugar dipped glass bottom rather than lightly flattened them like the recipe calls for. Which is fine with me since crisp and crunch is my fave texture for sugar cookies.
