31. reunion
It's only been a day at most, but it felt like way longer, especially since for a while he had no idea if she's still alive at all. Her getting killed first thing in the morning didn't sound too far-fetched considering the general reputation of the witches around.
All the people they gathered to help storm the castle if needed stood by, but he couldn't see them anymore, and not because of his only eye.
She was there, alive, unharmed, and even smiling - an exceptionally rare sight for the 'glass doll'.
Ignoring everyone else - and those two tall and scary unfamiliar men that were standing right behind her like some kind of bodyguards - he stumbled before her, looking her in the eye, searching for words.
She waited.
He didn't find any, and he refrained from hugging her, the atmosphere just wasn't calling for it and there was too many people around.
Instead, he took her hand, and turned into his weapon form.
Tea stood motionless for a few seconds, staring at the rapier in her hand. Then she took a stance and swung it once, graceful as usual, smiling wider than ever for a fraction of a second.
Lars whistled with approval from behind her back.
She raised her head again, looking at her roomates and all the other classmates that came to her rescue. That smile on her face was lingering still.

20. rival
That self-proclaimed rival of hers was really annoying.
It was mind-boggling. How did that loud, foul-mouthed idiot crush so hard on a quiet, shy wallflower in the first place? Tea tried to access the situation from a logical standpoint, but couldn't come up with anything. Then again, trying to understand Chokado with logic was doomed to fail from the start.
On the plus side, Shervin was getting more confident in telling her "no" over and over. Maybe that will help him in the future, 'harden' him, so to speak. But that was about the only plus side Tea could think of when dealing with the crazy fashionista, and it was questionable at best.
"He doesn't want to talk to you, so stop bothering him", she was telling her until she grew tired of repeating it every day. The urge to just skewer her in a fair fight was ringing in the back of the fencer's mind.
At least she keeps her hands to herself now. She did try to hug Sher against his will and get him outside by force exactly once. Tea then threatened her to back off, exactly once. It somewhat worked, thankfully.
Chokado's partner and childhood friend Ido was no help whatsoever, too. He was not supportive of her romantic pursuits, but was seemingly too lazy to actually do anything. He was sort of friends with Shervin, but that was about it.
Class was starting, and Chokado unglued herself from Shervin's desk, returning to her place and making a point to click heels really loudly when passing by Tea; it was unclear if she knew it was the most annoying sound for the redhead at this point or not.
Hopefully, they're in the clear until the next period.

funny part is how two on the top left are sorta siblings and two on the bottom right are actual siblings, and two on the bottom left are sorta couple while two on the top right, you guessed it, actual couple
in different world we gravitated to similar character sets
